The difference between gravel that works and gravel that migrates into the lawn is edging and base prep. Stone choice matters too. Rounded stone rolls underfoot, angular stone locks together.

What shows up in them, over and over: the estimate came fast, the crew showed up when they said they would, and the property was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. That is the whole business model.

Hydrangeas doing what hydrangeas do in late July. Down here they earn their reputation, as long as they sit out of the worst salt wind and the soil holds a little moisture.

The trick is what surrounds them: shaped shrubs that give the bed structure after the blooms fade, and a clean line that keeps the whole thing intentional.

Late July is when lawns get hurt by their own haircut. Cutting short in this heat exposes the crowns, cooks the soil, and invites every stress problem August has to offer.

We run the decks higher this time of year on purpose. Taller blades shade the roots and hold moisture in sandy soil that drains fast.

If your lawn browns out every summer, the mowing height is the first thing worth checking.
