Recently a client of ours was possibly bitten by a bat. With bad information from the hospital, freezing the bat…They are now both under going a series of expensive rabies shots, not to mention the stress, and more…. If safe! Keep the bat in a bag. DO NOT FREEZE IT. Educate here at Minnesota department of health . …… there is a bat submission form. And phone number. Good information to know ahead of time.
