Hi 👋 I’m Cassie — the face behind spruce + bloom 🤍

Former strength coach, current business owner, boy mom, and probably running on coffee and a to-do list 😂

I started spruce + bloom because I know firsthand how heavy the mental load of home can feel as soon as I had my first kid. Woof it hit me like a semi truck

The dishes.
The laundry.
The schedules.
The sports.
The constant feeling of trying to keep everything together while also wanting your home to feel calm and cared for.

Our goal isn’t perfection.

It’s helping create cleaner, calmer, lower-tox spaces that give families a little more breathing room and a little less stress.

We’ve gotten SO many questions lately about what products and tools we use, so here are a few of our favorite things 🤍

And honestly? We are not gatekeeping any of it 😂 We will happily tell anyone exactly what we use, why we use it, and how we use it.

Because the truth is, most of the time it’s not actually about “secret products.”

A lot of people already know how to clean.

The bigger issue is usually:
• mental bandwidth
• time
• energy
• decision fatigue
• juggling kids/work/life
• trying to maintain a home on top of everything else

That’s really where we come in.

Sometimes having support means finally being able to exhale and walk into a clean home without sacrificing your entire weekend to make it happen 🤍

I grew up around sports.

From basketball in the fall and winter to softball in the spring, athletics shaped so much of my childhood. My dad was also a football coach for 21 years, and looking back now as an adult with my own family, I realize something I didn’t fully understand then:

Coaches give an unbelievable amount of themselves to kids that aren’t even their own.

The late nights.
The missed time at home.
The emotional investment.
The constant pouring into athletes because they genuinely want to see them grow and succeed.

And while it impacts kids in such a positive way, I also know how much it can take from the coaches and their families behind the scenes.

So through Spruce + Bloom, we want to give back in a small way 🤍

Moving forward, we’ll be offering special seasonal support for coaches and coaching families during their active seasons — whether that’s discounted cleanings, special add-ons, or just helping take one thing off your plate while you pour into others.

The Mother’s Day winner was Renee Seger!

Reading through all of the nominations this weekend was honestly incredibly emotional 🤍

The amount of love, sacrifice, strength, and support that exists within motherhood is really something special.

The best way I can explain the difference between a standard clean and a deep clean of the bathroom is this:

A standard clean is like brushing your teeth morning and night 🤍

Things are getting cleaned.
Maintained.
Reset.

But a deep clean?

That’s the dentist appointment.

That’s getting the electric scrubber into all the little crevices you don’t normally have the time, tools, or energy to fully tackle yourself.

The buildup.
The grime.
The places that slowly collect life over time.

And once it’s done, everything just feels… refreshed.

Cleaner.
Lighter.
Easier to maintain moving forward.

That’s the goal of a true deep clean 🤍

Motherhood has been the most beautiful, exhausting, grounding, chaotic, meaningful thing I’ve ever experienced.

Some days feel slow and magical.
Some days feel like survival mode.
Most days somehow feel like both at the exact same time.

But lately I’ve realized it’s not the big milestones that hit me the hardest.

It’s the tiny things.

The little hands.
The after dinner bike rides.
The dirt on shoes from being outside all day.
The bedtime snuggles.
The way they still need me.

The ordinary moments that one day won’t feel ordinary anymore.

And while motherhood can feel incredibly heavy at times, I know deep down these are the days I’ll miss the most 🤍

Happy Mother’s Day to the moms in every season — the exhausted moms, the healing moms, the grieving moms, the new moms, the moms doing their absolute best every single day.

You are loved more than you know 🤍

I’m looking for the right person to grow with my non-toxic cleaning business as we expand throughout the Columbus area.

At Spruce + Bloom, we believe a clean home gives families more time together, less stress, and one less thing weighing on them at the end of the day. We use non-toxic products and genuinely care about the environments families are living in.
