ATA Mobile Auto & Home Spa is more than just a detailing service. I am the father of three exceptional young men. With the help of their mother and our families, we raised them to be respectful, hard working and productive members of society. In June of 2015, I received the call that my youngest niece (who was just two years old at the time), was going into foster care. My brother and sister-in-la
w stepped up to care for her while I became approved to become a foster parent. She came to live with me on August 1, 2015. Tori was sick on and off every month from the time she entered foster care. She had her tonsils and adenoids removed, had tubes placed into her ears and after a month of treatment with antibiotics recommended by her pediatric pulmonologist, she began feeling much better, but she she was not talking and was not reaching her developmental milestones. I legally adopted Tori one day after her fifth birthday. As she entered her first year of kindergarten, her school experience became so traumatic that she began regressing, and her outbursts became more frequent, and more violent. In 2017, I decided to take a year off to care for Tori and get her situated with the host of services needed to help her thrive. After searching the country for a home where she'd have consistent access to the medical, social and mental health services that she requires, I discovered my life's new mission. In early 2021, I started Living Independently Together, FL, a non-profit organization that will serve as a hub for special needs service providers and eventually allow families to live close to their loved-ones as they gain independent living skills. As the non-profit grows, I've developed a business that will help me to earn the funds needed to support the organization through its infancy (and of course, keep the lights on). My dream is to one day hire adults who have had difficulty finding jobs in the past because of their special needs, or personal histories. A, T and A are the first initials of the three kids in my life right now (two with special needs) who are helping me to turn my dreams into a reality. ATA Mobile Auto & Home Spa is here for you.
