Hydrogen peroxide is a great product to use inside your home. Here is one good practice to add to your routine.

To keep your mattress fresh, you should clean it every six months.

Once you strip the linens and padding, vacuum your mattress. Should you have any type of stain, create a mild solution of one part water to one part hydrogen peroxide. Using a clean, soft toothbrush, work this solution into the stain, let it sit for 5 minutes, repeat if needed. Once stains have faded, use a hair dryer to dry excess moisture before making the bed.
