From bare ground to beautiful growth. 🌱 Swipe to see the transformation!

These photos tell the story of a brand-new lawn installation—from freshly graded soil, to the first signs of germination, to healthy young turf taking off. These pictures are only about 2.5 weeks apart, and there were zero annual grasses used; only our sod-quality NorGro custom seed mixture.

While proper site preparation and quality seed are essential, Mother Nature has certainly done her part. The cooler temperatures and timely rainfall we've enjoyed across Northern Maine have created excellent conditions for new grass to establish strong roots.

A great lawn doesn't happen overnight, but with the right foundation and a little patience, the results speak for themselves.

We can't wait to see how this lawn looks by the end of the season! 🌿

While many homeowners think about lawn care in the fall, some of the most important steps toward a thicker, greener lawn actually begin in mid to late summer. From managing heat stress and maintaining proper mowing practices to planning for aeration and overseeding, what you do today can make a big difference next season.

If you've been hoping for fewer w**ds, stronger roots, and a lawn that bounces back faster after winter, now is the time to start preparing.

Read our latest blog to learn what Northern Maine homeowners should be doing now for fall lawn success. 🍂🌿

🌱 Wondering what’s growing in your lawn this summer?

Not every w**d looks the same—and knowing what you're dealing with is the first step toward getting your lawn back on track. From dandelions and clover to crabgrass and other common invaders, some w**ds can quickly spread and compete with your grass for water, nutrients, and sunlight.

Our latest blog helps Northern Maine homeowners identify some of the most common summer w**ds and explains why they show up in the first place.
