Custodial Cleaner
Salary: $11.60-15.00 / per hour
Position Information: Part- Time /Full Time (Night & Day)
Must be able to pass a background check and drug testing.
Travel Required: Travel is required from building to building.
Occasional travel may be required for training and/or other work-related duties.
Duties: Custodian duties include a wide variety of tasks that all involve keeping a building clean. The General duties include: vacuuming, sweeping and mopping all floors, dusting office furniture and office equipment to keep them clean and free of debris. Keeping these areas as clean as possible is required for the safety of the customers and staff. Other duties include: empty all trash containers and wastebaskets, cleaning stairwells, windows, blind, Clean and sanitize restrooms, cleaning of ceiling vents, hand scrubbing floors, and wiping down baseboards. You may be responsible for lock and unlock of assigned buildings and turning off lights.
Qualifications: Knowledge of proper care and maintenance of carpets and furniture. Ability to handle and control heavy powered equipment. Knowledge of proper uses of a variety of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions and ability to remove different kinds of stains from a wide variety of surfaces. Ability to read and understand directions on labels and printed instructions. Supervisor provides general direction on common and recurring duties and incumbent performs these duties independently. Must have good interpersonal skills, memory, have attention to detail, follows directions well, understands and comprehends direction from supervisor, must be able to read, write and speak well. Specific and detailed instructions are provided on new or complex assignments. Work is spot checked to adherence to instructions, completeness, quantity and quality. Work requires constant standing, bending, stooping, reaching and lifting of objects. Climbs ladders and operates industrial equipment. Lifts and carries objects up to 35 lbs. independently and objects over 35 lbs. with assistance. Work is normally performed indoors under normal conditions.
A trial period may be required upon selection/placement.

The investigation must find that you are suitable for Federal employment in your position.
Drug testing is required.
Position may be subject to alternate work schedule, rotating shifts, stand by, call back and nights/weekends/holidays schedule.
