Well after 10 years and thousands of cars i have cleaned and done i finally had my first unhappy customer. He wanted a full exterior detail, shows up and the hood and top of the cab are dull and faded, Scratches everywhere... He asked me if i can get them to shine... I expalained to him that is considered a paint correction and not a detail and a paint correction for an F150 starts at $350... He replied i don't want that because i don't have that type of money. I cleaned the car with wash n wax, Polished the hood and top of the cab with the rupes for free and sealed the entire truck with Endure XXL. Customer comes back and the first thing out of his mouth when he gets out is man that looks good. Does a walk around and starts asking about the scratches and if I waxed the entire truck... I again explained to him that the entire truck was cleaned with wash n wax and sealed with a 6 month sealant that is far better than wax. I tell him i did the hood and top of the cab for free and did not charge you... He said what do you mean i am paying. Yes but you are paying for a detail and not a paint correction. He pretty much throws the money at me and jumps in his truck and drives away very fast. He calls me 10 minutes later and ask me if i even cleaned his truck because he sees a smudge on a window. I tell him to bring it back and i will reclean all of the windows again...he would not bring it back and proceeded to tell me how unsatisfied he was that only half of his truck was waxed. I tell him again that the entire truck was cleaned and sealed but not a traditional hand waxing like he is thinking of. He keeps on and on so finally i tell him well i am sorry you are not satisfied but for the 2 hrs i spent on his trick anyone else would of charged you 200 to 250 to do. Have a nice day and hung up... Anyone else get a customer like this or just me?
