Well, better late than never! I ordered this bow tie for an event on 1/22. Due to the weather where it was shipped from and the weather where it was being delivered, it didn't show up until today. I guess I will have to find another event worthy of a bow tie like this. Lol!!

I went to last night. It was outstanding. Beautiful people amazing works on display. The artist were on hand, it really was a fun event.

Well this would usually never happen to me because I have learned a lesson from past experiences with the retailer that has great in-stock items. Now Walmart locks up the most ridiculous items. Then the customer has to decide how long they are willing to wait for someone to come unlock the case (if they ever come at all)so they they can get that pair of socks or some personal care items. I saw a guy covered in spider webs with a beard down to the floor waiting for someone to unlock the disposable razor he needed. I asked him how long he had been waiting and he asked what month it was! Now I know the items I need that Walmart locks up, so I just buy them at another store, and Walmart just looses that business from me. However, today, I needed an item from sporting goods that retails for $1.42. Fear covered by body when I saw it was behind glass & locked up like it was an once of gold. Keeping positive, I waited 10 minutes and no employees, I saw a team member trying to quickly scoot past me, but I was too quick and stopped him. Of course, he couldn't unlock the case, so he got on the PA and requested help for me. 15 minutes later ( now a total of 25 minutes trying to get this $1.42 item I decided to seek help for myself. I asked this young lady in the tire center if she could help me. She said she could not! So I asked if she would call someone to help me out. She said they already did. I explained to her that it was now 20 minutes ago, and I have actually been waiting for a total of 30 minutes. She rolled her eyes and huffed, then picked up the intercom and requested help for me again. Another 10 minutes passes, and I see a blue vest coming across the store walking towards me. I was excited. Only to find out her phone wouldn't work on the lock. So she got on her walkie-talkie and requested help for me again. This time, a gentleman came quickly and retrieved the $1.42 item. So after a total of 45 minutes, I was able to head towards the register. Now, putting on my team member hat, I quickly rang myself up paided and banged the $1.42 item. I thanked myself for shopping at Walmart . Walmart REALLY!

It's just been a little over a year since we lost our mother. Today would have been her birthday. I miss her so much. Happy birthday mom !
