FYI for all of you that purchase crochet patterns that you hope will wind up looking like the picture that is displayed on the listings of any patterns. There are now an enormous number of AI-generated patterns being sold by people that do not know anything about crochet whatsoever. They go into Chatgrp and ask them to generate a pattern for example an small whale stuffed animal. It will generate what looks like a completed pattern. What is happening though is if you begin this project you'll get somewhere in the middle of the pattern an several of the rows will not add up to the number of stitches that it should be given the directions. That's because AI-does not know how to crochet. The wrong instructions will give the crocheter the feeling that they made a mistake somewhere. #2 fact. - The pictures are also generated by AI also. So the ending product will usually not wind up looking like the product on the pattern listing. This is how scammers make so much money off of AI-generated patterns. Then when they are asked about the problem, they act all sincere and apologetic but you will never ever receive a logical answer to one of these AI-generated patterns. You just lost your $ you paid for it. I have included for your own eyes how these are generated with the below link. My advice to you is if the cover photo looks way too good then don't buy the pattern. No real pattern or pieces generated and made by real crochet creators will look that fantastic. Etsy sells lots of these on their site and they are having a very hard time at regulating them when they are reported upon. Just don't waste your $ if it looks too good to be true. It's probably fake! Here's the video link on how to detect a fake pattern and ad.
