Out of all the work we do, painting is where my heart and passion have always been.

On this day, Willie and I were out painting ironwork for a school security gate, working, laughing, and enjoying a beautiful day. Moments like this remind me how grateful I am for where we are this year and how far we’ve come.

And one of the coolest parts? JMac Action Media is us too. We get to do the work we love and capture our own journey along the way.

Grateful for the work. Grateful for the growth. 🎨🎥

A few weeks ago, Willie and I stopped at Subway for lunch. While we were eating, we noticed an OPEN sign sitting on the table that hadn’t been installed yet.

So we made them a deal: “We’ll install your sign if you buy us lunch.” 😂

At first, the answer was no. A few minutes later, she came back and said, “The manager said do it.”

Deal 🤝

We finished eating, grabbed a couple of tools, and knocked it out in about 15–30 minutes.

Sometimes you don’t need a contract or a big job. Just a couple of guys, a few tools, and a sandwich.

Fair trade if you ask me.

I love when people do stupid things like this. Feeling up our roll off with these lightly used mattresses. I take things like this like seed being planted in my garden. This isn’t a loss, it’s a win.

We’re getting ready to try out a new product from Lowe’s Home Improvement, and we’re looking for a few people who want to be part of it. If you’ve got a project coming up, message me to ask how you can get 30% off while helping us test something.

Meet John Villalon, the man behind JMacs Painting.

I’m a father, entrepreneur, fitness enthusiast, and proud blue-collar businessman who believes in earning everything through hard work and consistency. Whether I’m painting homes, training for a Spartan race, hiking a mountain trail, or building my business one customer at a time, I bring the same mindset: show up, give your best, and never stop improving.

JMacs Painting was built on more than paint. It’s built on trust, relationships, craftsmanship, and treating every project like it’s our own home. We don’t just paint walls. We help homeowners protect their investment, increase value, and create spaces they’re proud of.

As “The Traveling Painter,” my journey is about more than business. It’s about proving that with discipline, faith, hard work, and perseverance, ordinary people can build extraordinary lives.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted JMacs Painting, supported my journey, and followed along as we continue to grow.
