💙🚔 FULL CIRCLE MOMENT 🚔💙
A few days ago, Gabriella Cunningham shared a post in the “Living in Pryor Creek” group looking for an officer who helped her when she was in 4th or 5th grade.
Back in 2019–2020, she was walking to school in the rain near the apartments by Lincoln Elementary. A Pryor Creek officer stopped, gave her a ride to school, and later surprised her with a new bike, umbrella, backpack, bike pump, and other essentials so she wouldn’t have to walk through the rain again.
That officer was Detective Allen.
Today, Gabriella and Detective Allen were reunited right here at the Pryor Creek Emergency Services Center.
What may have seemed like a simple act of kindness at the time clearly left a lifelong impact. Years later, she still remembered — and wanted the opportunity to say thank you.
Moments like this don’t always make reports. They don’t always make headlines. But they matter.
This is what community policing looks like.
This is what service beyond the badge looks like.
We are proud of Detective Allen and the quiet, everyday difference our officers make in this community.
