Allergy season is here... use these tips to protect your exterior from, dare we say it, POLLEN 😨
1. Rinse and wash: By washing your car it can get rid of the excess pollen and wash away any potential effects it can have on the exterior.
2. Wax: By adding a protective layer of wax, pollen is less likely to stick to your exterior.
3. Check your engine filter: Your engine filter protects your engine from pollen, dirt, and debris. It is recommended to change your engine filter every 15k-30k miles, so we suggest doing this after pollen season.
4. Replace your interior cabin filter: By replacing the cabin filter, it keeps the air within the car cleaner, which means you’re less likely to be inhaling pollen-filled air.
5. Clean your wiper blades: Pollen build-up on your wipers eventually turns into a thick paste. By cleaning your wiper blades weekly, you can avoid this inevitable build-up.
