🎙️ RAINY TUESDAY MORNING WITH 105.5 COWBOY COUNTRY! 🌧️💪🏼

Jason and I shared plenty of laughs this rainy Tuesday morning on 105.5 Cowboy Country!

We kicked things off discussing weather predictions and just how quickly Mother Nature can prove a forecast wrong! 😂 After the severe storms that rolled through our region last night, we’re thankful our community made it through safely, with mostly some bumpy thunderstorms to show for it!

🏆 BEST OF STILLWATER!

I want to give a BIG shout-out to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to vote for Okie in the Best of Stillwater categories! And congratulations to all the other local businesses that received votes from our community!

From all of us at the Okie Standard, THANK YOU! Your support means more than you know!

🏈 We also took a little trip down memory lane, reminiscing about legendary NFL coach Herm Edwards and his famous words:

“YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!”

And that’s exactly how we approach what we do!

But here’s the difference. It’s not just about US winning. It’s about our COMMUNITY winning!

When we provide professional services backed by quality workmanship, accountability, and the expectations we’ve established through the Okie Standard, everybody benefits!

🔧 As always, we talked about everything we offer under one roof!

PLUMBING | UTILITIES | HVAC | SEPTIC

From service and repairs to new installations, remodels, residential and commercial projects, we’re proud to provide solutions for the people and businesses throughout our community!

We certainly enjoy our Tuesday mornings getting together with Jason and the crew at 105.5 Cowboy Country! It’s always a great opportunity to share some laughs, talk about what’s happening around town, and remind everyone what we’re working toward!

And as always, THANK YOU to the City of Stillwater and our entire community for allowing us to do what we do!

We don’t take that opportunity for granted!

💯 THE OKIE STANDARD — IT’S MORE THAN A NAME. IT’S THE EXPECTATION! 💪🏼

Happy Belated Birthday, Dylan! 🎂

We may be a day late, but we couldn't let your birthday pass without giving you a shoutout! Dylan is our HVAC contractor, and we're thankful to have him as part of the team. We appreciate all the hard work, dedication, and knowledge he brings to the job.

We hope you had a great birthday and got to celebrate! Help us wish Dylan a very happy belated birthday! 🥳

Happy Halloween from The OKIE Family! Hope everyone has a safe and fun night! 🎃👻

10/26/2026

This morning, Dylan Benson and I sat down with Jason Kranz from 105.5 Cowboy Country as we prepare for cooler temperatures and celebrate another incredible Oklahoma State Cowboys Homecoming week following the matchup against Colorado! 🤠

The Sea of Orange Parade was a huge success once again! On behalf of everyone at The OKIE Standard we want to thank the City of Stillwater and Oklahoma State University for allowing us to participate in America’s Greatest Homecoming Celebration!🎉

A special thank-you goes out to our employees, families, and friends who represented The Okie Standard in the parade, along with the thousands of paradegoers who cheered us on. The support from this community never goes unnoticed!

We also talked a little Cowboy football and what lies ahead for OSU with the remaining Big 12 schedule.

Dylan shared his experience participating in his first Homecoming parade with Okie alongside his family. He also reminded everyone that with cooler temperatures approaching, now is a great time to contact The Okie Standard to schedule your HVAC service and make sure your heating system is ready for the season.

We also touched on the Best of Stillwater Awards! The Okie Standard is honored to be nominated in FOUR categories:

Home & Garden

• Best HVAC
• Best Plumber

Services

• Best Customer Service
• Best Place to Work

We would greatly appreciate your support and your vote!

And finally, on a personal note…

I wanted to take a moment on air to give a BIG shout-out our 🥎 Team leader and the incredible group of young women coming together with the A’s organization.

There is something special happening with this team. Between the caliber of athletes, their competitive drive, and the quality of the coaching staff, it’s inspiring to watch. These young ladies are building something that goes far beyond wins and losses.

I know it’s something Eden is extremely proud to wear across her chest and be a part of.

This past weekend, Eden competed in her first A-Level tournament against some truly elite talent in Texas. She wanted to level up. She wanted to challenge herself against greater competition. Well, we found it, and she didn’t disappoint!

She stepped onto that field and became a playmaker. Watching her compete with confidence against that level of talent was something special. As a father, I couldn’t be more proud of her!

Thank you to the entire A’s organization, the coaches, and the families for creating these opportunities for our young athletes.

And one more shout-out that I missed while we were on the air!

Congratulations to Gracie and her team for bringing home the championship at the Alliance Super Cup Finals!

17 K’s! 😤

That’s an absolutely incredible performance! Congratulations, Gracie! I know your mom and dad are beyond proud of you, and rightfully so!

From Cowboy football and Homecoming celebrations to local businesses and the next generation of athletes, there’s a lot to be proud of in our community.

As always, thank you, Jay and 105.5 Cowboy Country, for having us on, and thank you, Stillwater, for continuing to support The Okie Standard!
