The other day we asked where you think the dirtiest hidden spot in your vehicle is and you guys had some really good answers!
Vents
Steering wheel
Between the seats
Under the seats
and plenty of other sneaky areas!
But personally, the steering wheel is one of the spots where we see the most buildup without it necessarily looking dirty.
Think about how often you touch your steering wheel. Over time, skin, oils, food residue, dirt, makeup and other buildup can work their way into the texture of the wheel and become less noticeable than you’d expect.
Sometimes a steering wheel can even look worn when some of what you’re seeing is actually buildup sitting on the surface.
The tricky part is knowing which one it is. Is it buildup that can be cleaned away or is the surface actually worn?
So before assuming your steering wheel is just worn out… it might just need a little TLC.
