Job title: Core Java Developer
Job description
Kirusa, Inc a leading company that provides many Value Added Services and AI based solutions to Telcom Companies in more than 18 countries world wide is looking for a FULL TIME consultant to work as Senior Java developer.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain, enhance, and support existing Java applications.
2. Develop and implement new features using Core Java and J2EE components
3. Utilize JBoss and the Spring framework for application development and maintenance.
4. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
6. Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
8. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
9. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
10. Work with MySQL databases to ensure data integrity and optimize queries.
Required Skills:
- Very strong in Java and J2EE Technologies. It includes EJB, JSP, Servlet, Java Scripting, XML, XSLT, JMS.
- Good knowledge of application server Jboss, Spring framework and working with MySQL.
-Good knowledge Java Multithreading and Socket Programming along with knowledge of protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP is preferred.
- A good knowledge of widely used open source tools such as CVS, Log4J, XDoclet, Ant, Struts, Eclipse etc.
- A good insight in J2EE design patterns.
-Should have good working knowledge on both Windows and Linux Operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with JBoss and WildFly.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., CVS,Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in using cloud based deployment solutions
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with VoiceXML based application development.
