Lots of fun building this drop down table. The custom topography design is from a special place in Canyonlands NP. We extracted the Topo lines from Google Earth to make this special one-of-a kind feature for our client. 🤘

Simple, clean, and functional. These are a few words that describe this Sprinter build we completed for some happy clients out of Lake Tahoe, California.

Charlie & Nancy came to us with a plan, and we love when our clients have a good idea of what they want before we start the design process. They had previously owned a Sportsmobile campervan, so they were experienced with the lifestyle and they new exactly what they wanted, and didn’t want. Charlie has a background in design, and both him and Nancy wanted something simple that allowed for plenty of storage and more of a “Weekender” concept. This means they will be doing most of their cooking, and camp setup outside the van.

The end result is a modern, fully insulated and heated take on the weekender campervan concept. Our primary focus was the fit and finish to make this rig look nice and clean. We love it, and it sounds like Charlie and Nancy do too! 🤙

Did you know we use a lot of bamboo in our rigs?!

Do you know why bamboo is considered to be a sustainable option?

Do you know why bamboo is the coolest grass?😎

Bamboo can be very sustainable if grown in the right conditions. It is fast growing and is very low maintenance as it doesn’t need fertilizers or large amounts of water.

It doesn’t need to be replanted as it self-generates from it’s own roots. Also, it produces 35% more oxygen than other hardwood trees.

Bamboo is ideal when used in it’s raw original form, for furniture, or objects like toothbrushes or cutlery. It is an eco-friendly alternative to other types of hardwood trees like Oak (which grows much slower).

However, be aware than many bamboo fabrics on the market are a form of rayon where the manufacturing process is highly intensive and involves many harmful chemicals.

Although the production of bamboo is more sustainable than cotton, the manufacturing process of bamboo fabrics uses highly toxic chemicals, and is not considered a sustainable solution.

In conclusion, choose bamboo products when they are made of raw bamboo, like furniture, toothbrushes, cutlery, and other objects. It is a sustainable alternative to most woods!

We just completed a nice and clean build on this used Transit van. It came to us after having a build (more photos of that to come) for a few years, and got a fresh makeover.

Needless to say, our local clients were stoked when they saw the transformation.

The GARAGE in our Antero build is completely custom, and offers a few unique features. The pull-out drawer, once activated, reveals a custom stainless steel floor pan with locking lid. The stainless floor pan contains a safe which is permanently bolted in place making for a great spot to store all of your cash, passports, guns, jewelry, you name it!

A few more details:

~45 gallon water system on driver side, with outdoor shower.
~Electrical system on passenger side with extra storage compartments
~passenger side storage has access from above under mattress.
~Center bed panel is removable to make access to mechanical areas a breeze.
~Bug screen is divided to allow access to the garage without the need to open up the cabin area.

Definitely the nicest garage we’ve built so far. Let us know what you think! ✌️

The Antero build has a luxurious interior that was designed for one, with the option to bring a friend. We built this campervan to be capable of staying off the beaten path for weeks at a time. Here’s how:
~600 Amp Hour lithium battery bank.
~3000 watt inverter/charger.
~180 watts solar.
~Second 280amp alternator for charging at idle.
~45 gallon fresh water tank.
~18 gallon grey water tank with electric dump.
~Large 12v fridge/freezer.
~Induction grill.
~Induction cooktop.
~Natures head composting toilet.
