Restoring some life to our family's 2017 Honda Civic in Burgundy Night Pearl. Sometimes I forget this car has a hint of red to it. But it's shining through more now. There was a layer of oxidized paint, scratches, and swirl marks which you will see in some of the photos. But the worst part were the sap etchings in the paint. The rest of the car could have done with just a two-step correction. But the etchings called for some wet sanding to speed up the process. Unfortunately, not all of the etchings could be removed as some were too deep, and I was keeping an eye on the paint thickness. But overall the car looks much improved. To seal in the new finish, I used Ethos Graphine Matrix 2.0 (BETA) which I was Beta testing for them. I have used, and enjoy the original version of this product. However, since this new version is still in Beta testing I only felt comfortable applying it to a personal vehicle to test. But, I'm confident it will hold up just fine. This post is a little longer winded than most; but this car has a lot of history for me. Here's some before and after pics. It's not perfect (although I got a bit carried away as I usually do). Enjoy!
