What’s the difference between Rain-X, Wax, Ceramic, and Graphene? And what’s the point of each one?
We get asked about our different wash packages quite a bit, so we figured we’d explain what some of these products actually do!
Each wash package includes everything from the packages below it.
Rain-X (Knight+) – All about water repellency! Helps water bead up and roll off your vehicle instead of just sitting on the surface.
Extreme Shine Wax (Royal+) – Focuses on giving your vehicle that freshly waxed, glossy look while adding some extra surface protection.
Ceramic Seal (Royal+) – Adds a water-repellent layer that helps dirt and grime wash away more easily, making your vehicle easier to clean between washes.
Rain-X Graphene (Majestic) – Our premium finishing protectant, formulated to enhance gloss and water repellency for that extra finishing touch.
There’s actually quite a bit that goes on behind the scenes to make all this work. We regularly check chemical concentrations, make adjustments, and make sure everything is applying the way it should.
The picture is one of our two chemical control panels. All those little valves and colored lines help deliver the right amount of each product as your vehicle moves through the wash.
Turns out there’s a little more to washing cars than just soap, water, and some spinning foam!
We figured we’d share a little of what goes on behind the scenes. Most people never get to see this side of the wash!
