Well once again another American Rocketry Challenge has ended with both teams I coach going to National Flyoffs once again in Washington DC! Could not be more proud of both teams. Alec’s team placed 14th in the nation this year while the middle school team I coach placed 16th. This is the first year that both teams have been in the top 25 since we began this program in 2017! SO PROUD OF THESE KIDS!

Congratulations to both of the Richards R5 TARC teams for qualifying yet again for the National Flyoffs for the 2021 season! Thank you for all of the field testing you did with several of my products as well! I’ve enjoyed mentoring you this year and look forward to seeing you do well at the finals in Dayton Ohio!

Developed specifically for rocket motor cases and the aerospace industry, SOK-1 Citrus Degreaser uses the cleaning power of Orange Solvent, (d-limonene), to quickly clean and degrease reloadable motor cases in the field. Unique aerosol formula is safe for use on all anodized aluminum, metal, and unpainted fiberglass parts. Removes grease, carbon, and black powder residue easily. Throw a can in your range bag and make cleaning those dirty motor cases and bulkheads between flights much more convenient and easy!

First Tripoli Mo-Kan launch of the season Saturday at Walnut Grove Missouri. Had a great turn out and at least a dozen L1 cert flights completed by students from Missouri S&T Rocket Design Team. Also in attendance was Scott Kormeier owner of Loki Research LLC. He manufactures some of the best high performance rocket motors on the market today! I was able to pull off several successful flights today on his Loki motors. My favorite of the day was this LOC Precision7.5” V2 on a 54mm Loki K960 motor. It sent this heavy 17 lb rocket to an altitude of 4103ft! Thank you David Moermanfor taking some of these spectacular photos!

The weather finally turned nice and was able to get back in the field to fly today! Had members of the Richards Tarc team from Richards school doing some product testing for me today with a couple new products to be released from BJAAM Performance Rocketry. Many products we produce here at BJAAM are inspired by the TARC teams to help them turn around their flights more quickly and efficiently in the field when conducting practice flights. Here are the two newest products in action being used by the propulsion team to clean motor cases between flights, SOK-1 Citrus Degreaser/case cleaner, and the new Case Snake in 24mm! SOK-1 is now available at our webstore: https://rocketsok.com/sok-1/. Case Snakes will be available by mid April!

What a great crowd today to support the Richards TARC team at their first launch of the 2020-2021 competition season! Both teams I mentor had great flights today, some successful and others a learning experience but at the end of the day all walked away with a big smile on their face! Keep up the hard work team!
