My son Jake has been so involved in his fraternity for the past 3 years and is currently serving his second and last year as President. Not only was he the youngest to become President of a fraternity, he’s the first 2-term position at CCU.

He has become a strong advocate for the positives fraternities can have, travelling across the country, including Texas, Chicago, Atlanta, North & South Carolina and is currently in Washington DC meeting with governors and senators doing just that. As Jake says, “we don’t just party”! They have raised funds for veterans, cancer, worked with children and animals, just to name a few.

He has become a strong advocate for the positive these young men are capable of, and I am incredibly proud of Jake as a leader. His fraternity brothers respect him, support him, and it gives them all a place they feel they truly belong in college. Being so far way from home isn’t easy for most, yes he called me at least once or twice because he was homesick. He missed his friends and family, but he pushed through after wiping some tears. At this very moment this once shy, intimated, very anxious boy is standing and using his voice on Capital Hill on his own 2 feet at just 21 years old.

Yes, I’m a proud father, but more so I’m proud of what he is doing for others. Please consider donating to support him in his final year as KA President!
