CONSUMER AWARENESS ALERT!!! A local competitor of ours recently unveiled their new website. While looking it over, I discovered that there were several libelous statements and lies about Time Machine Spas published on the website. I immediately reached out to the owner and asked him to remove this content before we had to take legal action. He immediately did so, apologized, and said that the website was designed by a company using AI and that he was unaware of the false claims. He said that the AI assistant created this baseless information. I believe he did not have direct knowledge of this as I know him to be an honorable person and I consider him a friend. The moral of the story is that AI is a valuable tool and I use it frequently. However, it is not always truthful and can damage reputations if it is not continually checked for accuracy by a human supervisor. For the record, Time Machine Spas IS a Bullfrog Spa dealer in good standing for over 10 years. We have new Bullfrog Hot Tubs arriving next week in our showrooms. It is unfortunate that this situation occurred but it is a valuable lesson to be learned regarding the dangers of Artificial Intelligence left unchecked.
