🐾 Bobcat Family Reunion Success Story! 🐾

When a homeowner discovered a bobcat mom and her kittens living in their yard, our team at Animal Experts was called in to help ensure the safety of both the family and the wildlife.

After locating one of the kittens, our team carefully used it to help reunite the mother with her babies by safely trapping her nearby. Once mom was secured, we hand-captured the remaining kittens and placed the entire family into a specialized transition enclosure.

This process allows the mother to remain with her babies while reducing stress and giving them time to settle before being released back into their natural habitat. After 24 to 48 hours, mom will move her kittens one at a time to a safe location of her choosing, just as nature intended.

Wildlife encounters can be exciting, but they also require experience, patience, and a deep respect for the animals involved. We're proud to help protect both Arizona residents and the incredible wildlife that shares our community.

Have wildlife visitors on your property? Let the professionals handle it safely and humanely.

🐍✨ Tiny Snake, Big Benefits! ✨🐍

Most people never get the chance to see one of these fascinating little reptiles in the wild!

Recently, Jeff from Animal Experts responded to a call about what was initially believed to be a coral snake. After a closer look, the mystery guest turned out to be a **Variable Sand Snake**—a small but mighty desert resident that typically grows only 10–15 inches long.

🏜️ These unique snakes are specially adapted to "swim" through loose sand and rocky soil, making them masters of life in the desert.

Even better?

✅ They help control insect populations
✅ They eat centipedes, scorpions, spiders, and other pests
✅ They're a beneficial part of Arizona's ecosystem

After a quick photo opportunity, this little guy was safely relocated to a natural area where he can continue doing what nature designed him to do.

Nature is full of amazing creatures, and sometimes the smallest ones have the biggest role to play. Next time you're out exploring Southern Arizona, keep your eyes open—you never know what fascinating wildlife you might discover!

🐍 The "Boys of Summer" Are Here! 🐍

Jeff here with Animal Experts, and if it feels like you've been seeing more snakes lately, you're not imagining things.

Just like baseball has the "Boys of Summer," we're currently dealing with the "Critters of Summer"—and snake calls are coming in every single day.

Recently, we were called to a home where a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake had made itself comfortable between a screen door and a front door. Fortunately, the homeowner did exactly the right thing: she kept her distance and called Animal Experts.

After safely removing the snake, we relocated it back into a suitable natural habitat where it can do what nature intended—help control rodent populations and play its important role in our desert ecosystem.

While rattlesnakes are an important part of Arizona's wildlife, this is also the time of year when we see an increase in snake encounters and, unfortunately, snake bites.

⚠️ A few safety reminders:
✔️ Watch where you place your hands and feet.
✔️ Check before sitting down outdoors.
✔️ Be extra cautious around rocks, bushes, wood piles, and other shaded areas.
✔️ Remember that rattlesnakes blend in incredibly well with their surroundings.

Most snake encounters can be avoided with a little awareness and caution. Enjoy Arizona's beautiful wildlife, but always give it the respect and space it deserves.

If you encounter a snake on your property, don't take chances. Give the professionals at Animal Experts a call.

Stay safe out there!

🦉 Another Chimney Rescue Success Story! 🦉

It happened again! This young owl recently found itself trapped inside a chimney, but thanks to a safe rescue, it's now on its way to recovery and release.

While this owl may look fully grown, it's actually a "fledgling"—a young bird that still has some fluffy down feathers as it learns to navigate the world. You can even see the soot it picked up during its unexpected chimney adventure!

Did you know that Southern Arizona is home to more than 350 species of birds? Surprisingly, only four types of birds commonly fall down chimneys: Great Horned Owls, doves, pigeons, and ravens.

Our goal is always to safely rescue, hydrate, and release these amazing animals back into their natural environment where they belong.

If you discover wildlife in your chimney, attic, or home, don't attempt to handle it yourself. Give the professionals a call and let us help protect both you and the animal.

🦉 Every rescue matters.

Friendly reminder to keep trash and recycling lids secure!

This skunk likely climbed onto the recycling bin looking for food, slipped through the opening, and got stuck inside. With a little patience and a careful approach, Animal Experts was able to help it get out safely and move along on its own.

Wildlife is naturally curious, especially when food smells are involved. Securing bins can help prevent animals from getting trapped or coming too close to your home.
