Some people will say:

“The cleaner charged $400 or more.”

But what often gets overlooked is everything that goes into earning that $$.

She likely spent money on supplies, gas, equipment maintenance, and other business costs.

She also invested hours of physical labor, her time, energy, and much of her day making that home look its best.

And no, she doesn’t simply pocket $400+.

There are still business expenses, self-employment taxes, fuel costs, cleaning supplies, equipment replacements, insurance, vehicle wear and tear, unpaid administrative work, scheduling, laundry, and restocking products.


What may look like a large payment on the surface is often the result of significant overhead, hard work, and operating costs behind the scenes.

Also me 30 seconds later: Realizes I forgot to turn off the switch across the room.

Instead of walking all the way over there like a normal person, I grabbed the nearest pole and turned it off from across the room. 😂
