There has been an increase in theft of packages (mail) left at the front door of homes. Please have a plan in place to cut down on this type of theft. Work with your neighbors to pick up and hide packages for each other. One offender was caught earlier this week. Report any suspicious activity to 911.

There has been an increased number of car break-in crimes reported. Please remember to keep valuable items (including change) out of sight and not stored in your car. Items not valuable to you may be valuable to someone else.

Happy Birthday to the Old Fourth Ward Patrol!!! Six years ago today our patrol was formed. We have come a long way since the start. We have a long way to go--please consider joining as the New Year begins!!

HOME DELIVERIES
Please monitor all of your packages delivered to your home. There are multiple reports across the city of packages being stolen from front doors. Consider having packages delivered to your office/work. Also, work with your neighbors to ensure packages are hidden or taken inside for you. Call 911 if you suspect any strange activity on your street.
