Collar City Auto Detail and Accessory Packages*

Interior Only Package:

Brushes and various vacuum attachments with a high powered shop vacuum will be used to get into cracks and crevices (such as in between the seats and the center console, under the seats, and inside the grooves between the seat top and bottom). I also take a fine brush tool and vacuum and dust each individual air vent and crevice around cup holders, the radio, and other fine, delicate areas on the dash and console. Head liners are inspected and cleaned as necessary.

Once I am done vacuuming, I will shampoo the interior of your vehicle and treat spot stains as needed. If your vehicle has a leather interior, I will also spray on the interior detailer to the seats and wipe it off to prepare it for conditioning. I then take a clean, dry microfiber towel and apply the leather conditioner and then work it in leaving a soft, slick feeling to your seats that is noticeable.

Following this step, I spray every part of plastic inside the interior, including the dash, door panels, and trimming around the headliner with an interior detailer and I wipe it down with a soft microfiber towel. Hard surfaces, such as vinyl, plastic, and leather will be carefully cleaned. Care must be taken because certain interior surfaces can be damaged with the wrong cleaning process. I have seen plenty of badly scratched touch screens, which are expensive to replace. Only water-based UV protectors should be used on interior hard surfaces, which have a natural matte shine. Thick and oily products applied at some car washes, can attract dust and create a glare effect on the dash.

Lastly, I clean the inside of each widow. First, I spray on a non-streak automotive glass cleaner and buff it off with a microfiber towel. I then take a separate, dry microfiber towel and buff off any remaining cleaner to produce a streak-free and clear finish on your windows.

Interior Package cost is $100 and takes 2-3 hours.

Exterior Only Package:

Begin with exterior wash. It is hand washed and includes bug and tar removal, if needed. The wheels, wheel wells, and tires will also be carefully cleaned with appropriate products by hand, leaving a clean and polished look. The paint is gently dried with quality towels that never touch any other area of the car. The vehicle is then buffed/polished using professional grade compound and an orbital buffing tool. Buffing/Polishing actually refers to a process that removes a minute layer of a vehicle's paint. Doing so has a number of advantages, such as:
Fresh layer revealed -- This is the primary effect of buffing your car, leaving it looking brand new. Under the layer of paint that has been exposed to the elements for years is a fresh layer just waiting to bust out. When done correctly and with the right type of compound, this can be a great way to make your vehicle look almost new again.
Longer lasting finish -- The best way to prolong the appearance of your vehicle is to take good care of it. Buffing is one way to do this. By treating its exterior with care, your car's finish can last quite a bit longer.
Removes minor scratches -- No matter how careful you are, scratches to your vehicle's clear coat are bound to happen. Buffing your car will often remove these blemishes, as long as they aren't too deep.

Exterior Package cost is $100 and takes 2-3 hours.

Basic Package:

Includes an Interior and Exterior Detail:

Begin with exterior wash. It is hand washed and includes bug and tar removal, if needed. The wheels, wheel wells, and tires will also be carefully cleaned with appropriate products by hand, leaving a clean and polished look. The paint is gently dried with quality towels that never touch any other area of the car. When your car is detailed, the paint will either be hand waxed or polished and sealed with a polisher. This process will both protect and enhance your car’s paint. Paint protection is important because it prevents UV damage and keeps contaminants from bonding to the paint.

On to the interior - the same care is taken. The vehicle is inspected with the owner before finishing to ensure complete satisfaction.

Basic Package cost is $150 and takes 3-4 hours.

The Full Works:

Includes all elements of the basic package plus:

Engine Detailing:
First, the engine is inspected for areas where water can collect and cause possible damage. If there is damage or an area that is questionable, the engine may not be detailed. Once the engine is deemed safe to detail, it is first sprayed down with water to remove any loose particulate. Once wet, a degreaser is applied to the entire motor and is allowed to sit for a few moments. After about five minutes, the degreaser is then agitated using brushed and all corners and tight areas of the engine bay are scrubbed down. Once everything is scrubbed, the degreaser is rinsed off and the engine is then dried using an air compressor. Once dry, the engine is check for complete cleanliness and all of the plastics and hoses under the hood are wiped down with a conditioning dressing that adds an OEM finish. All painted areas, and chrome if applicable, under the hood are treated with a coat of wax and the underside of the hood is wiped down and waxed as well.

Vehicle Buffing/Polishing:

Spray on Bed Liner application:
Truck bed liners are protective coatings that shield the inner-side of a truck bed from damage and also create a skid resistant surface allowing any cargo to stay in place, depending on circumstances.
My process includes: First, clean and prep the inside of the bed with a wax and grease remover to clean any substances that may stop the liner from adhering. Where the bed liner material would need to be terminated such as along the top edges of the service body, I use a special masking tape along the edge to make a clean cut in the material once it's dried. Next, I use copious amounts of plastic to cover the truck to protect it from overspray. After the truck is covered, I power sand the bed and tailgate surfaces to ensure there would be good adhesion of paint. Then I spray on the material using a professional grade spray gun and top of the line, scorpion paint product. Bed liners can come in any color, including to match the exterior of your vehicle. Bed liner carries a life time warranty against cracking, pealing, and delaminating.

Spray on Bed Liner Application Cost is $475 for black paint (includes paint and installation service) and takes about 4-6 hours to complete. Custom color match the exterior of your vehicle is $575.

Add Ons:

Interior/Exterior Air Filter Replacement: Replace air filter to improve air quality that circulates within the vehicle. Replace air filter to improve vehicle performance and increase gas mileage. Cost of filters (vary by vehicle) and $15 install charge.

Headlight restoration: Restores headlights that appear “foggy” by buffing the headlights to a “new car” look. Cost = $25.

Installation of Exterior Window Vent Guards/Visors: Equip your vehicle with vent visors & window deflectors. Rain, sleet and snow will be channeled away when the windows are open. When you want fresh air, even in poor weather, a vent visor or window deflector lets the clean air blow in without blowing you away. Cost of products (vary by vehicle) and $25 install charge.

*All services done in your driveway so you don’t have to leave your home, we will come to you! All services will be done in consultation with the vehicle owner prior to commencement. Excessively dirty vehicles may include an additional charge, which will accessed at the time of inspection and discussed with owner.
