Since May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month, our team at Ozane wants to clear up one of the most dangerous myths out there.

The Myth: "I don't have a bullseye rash, so I don't have Lyme Disease."
The Fact: While the "Erythema migrans" (bullseye) rash is a classic sign, nearly 20-30% of people infected with Lyme Disease never see a rash at all. Others may just see a solid red patch that looks like a common bug bite.

What the Ozane Pros want you to look for instead:
🌡️ Sudden flu-like symptoms (fever, chills, fatigue).
joint and muscle aches.
🧠 "Brain fog" or headaches.

Early detection is key, but prevention is even better. You shouldn't have to play detective every time your family goes outside. Our Yard Guard system is designed to eliminate the "questing" zones where ticks wait for their next host, giving you a backyard you can actually trust.

Don't wait for a sign to protect your lawn. Drop a "🛡️" in the comments if you want a free quote on our Yard Guard protection, or DM us to get on the schedule for May!

What you can’t see can hurt your pack. 🐕🧒
Ticks are tiny, but the risk they carry isn't. During Lyme Disease Awareness Month, we want to show you exactly how our Yard Guard treatment works to protect your property.

The "Before" image shows how ticks "quest" at the edges of your lawn, waiting for a host to brush by. The "After" shows the Ozane results: a dramatic drop in activity and a safer environment for your kids and pets.

Professional treatment is the most effective way to break the tick life cycle and keep your summer bite-free.

Ready to clear the map? Visit our website or DM us to schedule your Yard Guard service today!

Found a tick? Don't panic—just follow these steps. 🛑🔍

Since May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month, we want to make sure everyone in our community knows the right way to "do the tug."

The Pro-Approved Removal Guide:
1️⃣ Use the Right Tools: Grab a pair of fine-tipped tweezers. Avoid using your fingers!
2️⃣ Get Close: Grasp the tick as close to the skin's surface as possible (you want to get the head, not just the body).
3️⃣ Pull Straight Up: Use steady, even pressure. Do not twist or jerk the tick, as this can cause the mouthparts to break off and remain in the skin.
4️⃣ Clean Up: Once removed, wash the bite area and your hands thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or soap and water.

⚠️ What NOT to do:
Forget the "old school" tricks. Never use nail polish, petroleum jelly, or a hot match to kill the tick while it’s attached. These methods can actually backfire and increase the risk of infection.

Pro-Tip: If you’re concerned, save the tick in a sealed bag or jar. If symptoms like a fever or rash develop later, your doctor may want to see it!

Knowledge is power, but prevention is easier! Let’s stop the ticks before they reach your porch. Send us a message to learn how our yard treatments create a "no-go zone" for ticks. 🚫🕷️
