Office Space Spring Cleaning! Eliminating clutter will create focus!

Tip #1: Take a couple minutes before you begin your workday to Deep Clean that Desk. Grab those sanitizing wipes and cover all surfaces ridding them of dust and germs. Now organize the items on and in your desk thoughtfully.

Tip #2: Open those drawers, dust, sanitize and declutter these spaces as well! Grab a couple zip ties and get low....organize the cables so you cant see them or feel the chaos exposed cables always make us feel! :)

Tip #3: Having the right tools and accessories are always a key to organization! A trash bin large enough to keep up with your refuse....a recycle bin to match and dont forget the shredder! Keep these items close by but out of sight if possible. Trash is a trash even in a lovely container...the sight of it will always create a feeling of ick... Hide them.

Tip #4: Organize and Minimize. There really isn't any reason to have 4 stacks of sticky notes, envelopes and paper and 40 pens out in the open. Keep supplies under wraps tucked away in drawers and organized in containers. Out of sight and out of mind.

Tip #5: Are we really still using sticky notes? There are so many wonderful apps and software programs you can use to eliminate clutter at the office. Take a look around....the eyesores...the items that cause anxiety. Find a solution for those first.

Tip #6: Yes! You are an individual and unique and wonderful This is true! However your home is the place to create a centerpiece of your personality...the office is your place to present a professional and organized front to your boss and peers. Minimize decor, keep it simple and clean.

Tip #7: End of the day Clean Up! Same as the start of the day...lets implement that same habit at the end! Clean and organize your work space before you leave!
