THURSDAY NIGHT LAUNDRY LAB IS IN SESSION!
When does warm water actually help? Cold water works well for most everyday laundry, especially with modern detergents. But warm water still has its place. Warm water can help loosen oily or greasy soils and can help powdered detergent dissolve more completely.
But warmer isn’t automatically better. Heat can contribute to fading and shrinking in some fabrics, and some stains, especially blood and other protein-based stains, are better started in cold water.
The best rule? Check the care label and think about what you’re trying to wash before you pick the temperature.
Come on in, we’re glad you’re here.😊
