Meet the Owner's of Carissa's Green Cleaning LLC ! Joe and Carissa launched the business in February of 2019. They take pride in holding the Best Of Toledo title for the years following. Carissa took home Best entrepreneur title for 2024 and 2025 as well. Joe being a master mechanic it's only natural he's constantly behind the scenes working on the fleet, vacuums, mops and anything else that breaks or comes up. Carissa spends her work days behind the scenes communicating with clients, doing estimates, making cleaner, employee and client scheduling, payroll, and all the in between tasks to make the day run smoothly. The are both pretty smooth problem solvers.
When Carissa isnt working she enjoys shopping, binging TV, getting tattoos, teaching her special needs son, meal prepping, and trying to visit with the twins who are newly out of the nest. When we asked her what are you passionate about? She responded "Being the best me for: my kids, employees, husband and family." We asked what is advise you would give to a new business owner? She said, "Keep going, fear is a liar!" We asked, what does it take to run a successful business? She said "Integrity, a good reputation, loyal employees and consistency.(with clients and employees)" We asked, what is the best part about running CGC? She said, "My girls, they are the best! I enjoy being so involved in the community, and giving back every chance I get. I truly belive and stand by the phrase, "YOU WILL DO BETTER IN TOLEDO"" She was asked, who is youe favorite client? She said, "With full books we get to pick and choose who we do business with so I can truly say every we client we have is top notch. If I HAD to choose I would say Outdoor Sylvania Community Parks (Olander) and all my OG clients who hired me when i was a solo cleaner and are still with me (Melanie W, Karen R, Monica L)"
When Joe isnt working he enjoys, watching football, wrenching, fishing and making his family laugh. When we asked Joe, what is your most prized possession? He answered, "My family!" We asked him, why do you do what you do? He said, "Happy wife happy life! I truly enjoy staying busy, making money and being a part of our community!" We asked him what is the KEY to running CGC? He responded, "The girls, they are the driving force behind CGC, our reputation and good standing in the community. Carissa and I will both agree our employees are the absolute best and we are so very thankful for them." We asked Joe who is your favorite client it was a quick answer of "Olander!" When we accused him of just saying what Carissa said, he laughed and said "I stand by my answer, but my favorite home to service is, Sandy A"
