I was 18 years old, working for a man named Joe Perretti, learning how to make cars look new again.
I didn't know it then, but I was standing in the same shop I run Precision out of today.
In 2013 I lost my grandmother. What she left behind, I put into equipment and supplies. June 2014, I started detailing cars out of my own garage. No heat. Some months I couldn't work at all β I just had to wait for the weather to turn.
2015 broke me down in a different way. Went through a divorce, had to leave my home, didn't know where Precision was going to end up. Found a condo with an attached garage I could heat, and for the first time, I could work through the winter instead of just hoping I'd survive it.
By 2017 I had a real shop. 6,500 square feet. Six years after that, I opened a second location.
It was the same building I started in at 18.
Then in 2024, someone I trusted to help run this business stole $50,000 from me over the course of a year. Found out, fired him, and went back to work the next day. There wasn't time to fall apart. There were cars to get done and people counting on me.
I've put my hands on over 10,000 vehicles since that first garage. Every one of them happened because I didn't quit when I had every reason to.
I'm not telling you this so you feel bad for me. I'm telling you because if you've ever trusted us with your car, you were trusting a business that almost didn't make it here more than once.
That's who you're supporting when you book with Precision. Not just a detail. A guy who came back from every single thing that tried to take this away from him, and is still standing in the same shop where it all started.
