Cleaning Tip Tuesday! ✨

It’s the jolliest time of the year which also means it’s the pine needle-iest time of year! Real Christmas trees bring a special sense of Christmas wonder to your family’s home but that also means you’ll be contending with lots of pine needles!
My pro tip to you is to NOT vacuum these up. Pine needles can get clogged up in your hose and can cause damage to your motor and other components.
Your best bet is to use a good old fashioned broom and dust pan to avoid having to ask Santa for a new vacuum next year 🎅 🎄

What You’ll Do:
Lead a crew in the professional installation of residential windows and doors
Ensure each job meets company quality standards and safety requirements

Track materials, report progress, and resolve installation issues effectively

Proven experience in window and/or door installation (3+ years preferred)
Demonstrated leadership or crew lead experience
Strong knowledge of tools, construction safety, and installation techniques

Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and handle physically demanding tasks
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Positive attitude and team-focused mindset

Cleaning Tip Tuesday! ✨

Got a lot of burnt on grease and food residue on the inside of your oven window?

Try using a new, clean razor blade to carefully scrape the glass and watch as all that tough grime comes up without the use of harsh chemicals or lots of hard scrubbing. Just make sure you keep the razor blade flat and apply even pressure to avoid scratching.

Try keeping a set of cleaning rags and cleaning solution in each bathroom and kitchen. This way cleaning supplies are never too far out of reach and you will be more likely to tidy up as you go! Work smarter not harder 🤓

Cleaning Tip Tuesday! ✨

This one is a very simple but effective trick to freshen your home; open the windows!!

Did you know that the air quality inside our homes is typically much worse than outside?! The easiest way to improve your indoor air quality is to simply open all the windows on your home. The cross ventilation and circulation will draw fresh outdoor air inside and blow away all the musty stale air inside. It smells great and feels great especially on a cool spring day!

Cleaning Tip Tuesday! ✨

What temperature water do you mop your floors with? While it may be tempting to mop with steaming hot water, this is actually not the best method!

I recommend mopping with room temperature or just warm water. Hot or boiling water can actually spread around grease or potentially cause damage to floors. Furthermore, depending on the type of cleaner you are using hot water can actually negate the effect of the cleaning agents! Always read the label when using a cleaner to see recommended water temperature. 🪣

Cleaning Tip Tuesday! ✨

Work smarter not harder! If you have tough stains or lots of build up to contend with, spray your preferred cleaner and allow it to sit for a few minutes to allow the cleaning agents to break down that gunk for you.

This is called “dwell time” and saves you lots of hard scrubbing, energy, and frustration! Depending on the cleaning agent, the surface you are cleaning, and the mess you are cleaning up you can allow up to an hour or two of dwell time. Always read the label on your cleaning agents to see recommended dwell time and safe surfaces.

Cleaning Tip Tuesday! ✨

If you have natural hard wood floors make sure you allow them to dry completely before replacing any area rugs or furniture!

I once had a client whose previous cleaners would replace the door mat on her natural hardwood floors before they were completely dry which resulted in a permanent dark stain on her floors from water damage.

To avoid water damage it is important to not use too much water when mopping and allow your floors to dry completely!
