Birds in NC right now are out here house hunting like it’s Zillow 🐦🏠

And vents? That’s the penthouse suite if you leave them open.

This one was caught just in time, before damage was done.

But if you’re hearing chirping, scratching, or “something in the wall”…it may be time to get your vents checked.

A hill we will absolutely die on:
If your vinyl siding is loose, bent, or pulling away from the house… fix it. 😭
Because to a bat, that little gap looks like a luxury apartment with great curb appeal.
This home had an entire group tucked behind ONE loose section of siding. Small opening. Big problem.

Always thankful for the great feedback from our amazing customers!!
If you have any unwelcome wildlife visitors, you know who to call!

Customer called because the birds in their home suddenly disappeared overnight. Sounds like good news… until we found out WHY. 👀🐍
Turns out a rat snake had moved in and helped itself to the birds. Nature is wild sometimes.
We safely removed the snake and helped make sure the problem didn’t come back. One wildlife issue disappearing doesn’t always mean the problem solved itself. Sometimes it just means something else showed up for dinner.

Turns out Santa isn’t the only thing getting stuck in chimneys… 🦉🎅

We safely removed this owl from inside a chimney today and got it back outside where it belongs. Another good reminder why chimney caps are so important — they keep wildlife out and prevent situations like this from happening in the first place! If your chimney needs a cap give us a call!

It’s that time of year when people start spotting fawns curled up alone in yards, flower beds, and wooded areas. 🦌
In most cases, mom is nearby and the fawn is exactly where it’s supposed to be. The best thing you can do is give it space and keep pets and people away.
We put together a few important tips on what to do — and what not to do — if you come across a fawn this spring, plus a blog with more detailed information. Check it out before trying to “rescue” one of these spotted little lawn ornaments. 😅
