Water purity at a car wash is crucial for proper operation. The build up of limescale (calcium and magnesium deposits) can directly affect many things such as solenoids, dilution nozzles, card readers, surveillance cameras, vehicle sensors in bays, on demand boilers, etc. The 26 year old water softening unit in Georgetown was beyond the Band-Aid repair.

This will improve the quality of the car wash you purchase. It will also help us maintain consistency with equipment functionality.

Did you know Maya’s is able to recycle water? As water feeds into our reverse osmosis machine, 50% of that water is purified, filtered and stored underground. That water is then used for our spot-free rinse at the end of the car wash process. The other 50% gets rejected into our 1,000 gallon above ground water tank That is then used for our Automatic car washes. On busy days when spot-free is constantly running, the automatics will run on mostly recyclable water!

All 3 of our locations have similar setups saving 100,000’s of gallons of water per year 😁

Today was pretty great. I hope you had the chance to get outside and enjoy it. Maybe you washed the car, cleaned up the back patio or just opened the windows and let the fresh air in!

How did you enjoy today! Amy and I had lunch in the car in the sun! It was so fun! LOL!
