Booking a pickup with us takes three texts. Here's exactly how it works.

1. Send a photo. Text a photo of the pile, the piece or the room to (503) 455-7920. Add the city and whether it's inside or outside. That's all we need; no site visit.
2. Get a firm quote. We text back a number, usually the same day. The price we quote is the price you pay. Donatable items earn a a credit each.
3. Pick a window. Morning or afternoon, often same or next day. We confirm by text the day before and again when we're on the way.

Then we do all the loading, sweep up, and send you a photo when it's done. That's the whole process, on every job, across the Portland west side.

Pop quiz: the cheapest hauler you can find dumps your junk in the woods. Who gets the fine?

Both of you. Metro can cite the owner of the trash as well as the person who dumped it, with cleanup costs plus penalties up to $500. A local hauler was cited more than $24,000 this fall for thousands of dumped tires.

Ask any hauler three things: proof of insurance, a written quote before the job, and where the load is going. How to vet a hauler in two minutes: https://alloregonjunkremoval.com/cheap-junk-removal-portland-illegal-dumping/ (503) 455-7920

The cheapest hauler on the internet dumped it in the woods. Who gets the fine?

Both of you. Metro's rule is that warnings and citations can go to the owner of the trash as well as the person who hauled and dumped it. Fines cover the cleanup and can add penalties up to $500 per incident.

This fall a local hauler was cited more than $24,000 for 3,674 tires dumped at four sites. Investigators used security video and truck-rental records to trace them back. Your name is on the invoice, the Venmo and the text thread.

We're insured, we give you a firm quote before we lift anything, and we can tell you where every load went. The whole story, and how to vet a hauler in two minutes, on the blog today: https://alloregonjunkremoval.com/cheap-junk-removal-portland-illegal-dumping/

Every load we haul from Tigard, Beaverton or Lake Oswego ends up here: Metro South, weighed in and weighed out, with the clean wood and metal already sorted off so less of it lands in the garbage pile.

Guess the weight on the ticket. Comment your number. (503) 455-7920

Would you haul this? Two toilets, a vanity, a tub surround and a bathroom's worth of tile.

We said yes. Bathroom remodels are one of our most common pickups on the west side: the contractor pulls it, the pile lands in the garage, and nobody wants a toilet in the back of their car.

Porcelain and tile are heavy material, so they're quoted by the pile from a photo. Everything metal (faucets, the old vanity frame) gets pulled out for the scrap recycler.

Yes or no below. And if there's a remodel pile in your garage right now: (503) 455-7920

KEY Home Furnishings customers in Lake Oswego don't haul the old couch the morning of delivery. Their sales team hands them our number, we clear the room the day before, and the delivery crew walks into open space. The old set never rides in the truck with the next customer's new furniture. Buying new this fall? Comment the store. (503) 455-7920

When a KEY Home Furnishings customer buys a new living room, the old one is gone before the delivery truck arrives. Here's how that partnership works, and why it matters.

KEY Home's sales team hands customers our number at the time of sale. We come out the day before delivery, remove the old couch, loveseat or recliners, vacuum the space, and leave an open room.

What that eliminates: the customer isn't scrambling to get rid of the old set the morning of delivery. KEY Home's delivery crew walks into a clear floor and sets the new pieces exactly where they belong, no shuffling furniture around a couch that's still in the way. And the delivery truck stays clean. Their crew isn't loading someone's ten-year-old sofa, with its dog hair, cat dander and dust, into the same truck carrying the next customer's brand-new furniture.

Old pieces that are clean and complete go to a local nonprofit, with a credit on your invoice for every item we can donate.

Thank you to Home Furnishings in Lake Oswego for trusting us with your customers. Furniture stores on the Portland west side: this works. (503) 455-7920

The most common call we get on the Portland west side is not a whole house. It is a corner: too much for a car, not enough to feel like a job.

What is the load you keep putting off? Comment it. (503) 455-7920

Here is the call we get more than any other: not a whole house, not a hoard. Some leaned-up cabinet panels, a couple sheets of plywood, a shelf that came apart, and a few bags.

Too much to fit in a car. Not enough to feel like it is worth calling anybody about. So it sits in the corner for a year.

One trip, sorted on the job, floor swept, door closed. That is the whole thing.

If that is the corner you walk past every day, send a photo of it. We quote from the picture, and the price we quote is the price you pay. Call or text (503) 455-7920.
