Welcome to the Facebook profile for Villages Auto Detail! Growing up in New England, I always had a passion for cars, specifically clean cars. It's a science.

I looked forward to those spring days when the temperatures rose above 45 degrees to be out cleaning off the dirt and grime from my cars after a dark salty winter. Seems crazy now, but that same enthusiasm still drives me today! I am excited to say that I just recently relocated myself and my company to The Villages from the west coast to be closer to my family as they get older.

Unlike others in this industry, this has always been more than just washing cars with a pressure washer and a truck full of bottled bubbles. I was trained and certified by the same organization that educates luxury car dealerships, such as Mercedes-Benz, Maserati, Nissan and many others, to perform the same services for their cars in their service departments. The only difference is that dealerships charge four times more for the same services! Join with us in our enthusiasm and you will see what sets us apart from the others. College can be rough. Apparently the commute there is even rougher. This is Troy’s 2024 Volkswagen Golf GTI, and with a daily highway run back and forth to Orlando, the miles had definitely left their share of bugs and road grime. That’s what everyone could see, but once those were stripped away, the swirls and scratches underneath were what they didn’t see coming. A full Platinum detail, paint correction and ceramic coating took care of both levels, bringing back the depth and metallic pop while adding some serious protection for the miles ahead. Thank you for trusting us with your GTI for your first visit, Troy. Consider this one graduated from the School of Shine!

Well, oxidation isn’t just for Corvettes and Lexuses! We got a call from regular customer Connie, whose Chevrolet Silverado desperately needed a shine exorcism from the clutches of a heavy oxidation possession. So out came the polisher and a full exterior detail to save the day. Now that Deep Ocean Blue Metallic can stand proud again and sparkle like its namesake says it should. Thank you for trusting us with another vehicle, Connie. We appreciate you, as always!

And while we're talking Lexus... We first met this 2019 Lexus RX350 last December when it received a Gold Detail. Unfortunately, sometime afterward it had a little disagreement with another vehicle and required some body and paint work. Once the new paint cured, we were invited back to restore the fresh finish and take things one step further. This time, it got blessed with our nine-year ceramic coating, leaving that metallic paint with plenty of gloss and years of rock-solid protection. We can only hope the other cars slide off as easily as the next love-bug season will! Thank you, Gary & Tammy, for trusting us with your Lexus a second time. We're always grateful to dish out a second helping of shine!

Speaking of the sweet taste of polished shine, nothing shows off a shine quite like black — especially when it's been ceramic coated. This is Jim's 2007 Lexus ES 350. He found us through our Google reviews after a bad experience with another "budget" detailer and was looking for a makeover for his nearly 20-year-old Lexus. After a Platinum Detail, polish and ceramic coating, I think it's safe to say black paint was the right choice for showing off the results. Certainly doesn't look its age now! Thank you for trusting us with your Lexus, Jim. I'm grateful that your enthusiasm for the end result was every bit as five-star as the Google reviews that brought you our way.

Apparently today is National Dessert Day! And when you think of desserts, it’s hard not to think of the French. So naturally, we decided to serve up something French of our own. Sort of...
This is Dawn’s INEOS Grenadier, fresh from its Gold Detail and polish. Built in France, powered by the Germans, with an interior that looks more like it was made by Boeing, this is one fascinating machine. Dawn was a brand-new customer who was already sharing pictures before we were even finished, so we think she was pretty pleased with the results! Thank you for trusting us, Dawn. We hope you enjoy the sweet taste of polished shine!

Brand new means perfect paint... right? Mike brought us another new car, this gorgeous Capri Blue 2025 Genesis GV80, for a 7-year ceramic coating. Being brand new, you wouldn't expect it to need paint correction. However, once the dealer-applied sealants and waxes were stripped away, the hood told a different story — fine wash marks and micro-scratches were already hiding in that beautiful blue paint. Before locking anything under seven years of protection, we polished those imperfections away and gave that Capri Blue the depth and clarity it deserved. Brand new doesn't always mean perfect. But it can be with us. Thank you again, Mike. Love the new car, and love that it now looks the way it was supposed to from day one.

Well, today's the day! For Columbus Day, rather than discovering a new world, we're discovering a NEW SHINE! Tom has owned this Corvette since day one, and after years as his daily driver, Mother Nature had taken her toll. The paint had oxidized so badly that the car eventually lived under a sheet in the garage, doubling as a workbench because he was too embarrassed to drive it. He thought repainting or selling it off was his only option. Nope. Just needed us. A full two-stage paint correction followed by a ceramic coating brought this nearly 30-year-old Corvette back from the dead, with a newfound luster it can proudly show off again! Thank you, Tom, for finding us on social media and trusting us with another successful SHINETOLOGY EXORCISM!

Oxidation seems to be an epidemic with older Corvettes, and a reminder of just how badly the Florida sun can kill unprotected paint. This one had gotten to the point where the owner thought repainting was looking like the only option. Then they called us.

And now for a car that actually WAS around when Carroll Shelby was! This beautiful 1980 Corvette Stingray came to us wearing nearly 50 years of sun damage, scratches, oxidation, and plenty of battle scars from Mother Nature. Its owner, Jim, has had it for years after originally purchasing it from a friend who has since passed away, so there’s a little more than just horsepower and fiberglass tied up in this one. After several hours of compounding and polishing, we turned back the clock and finally let that black paint bask in the glory of shine again! We finished it off with a ceramic coating to help protect all that newly restored luster for the road ahead. Hopefully, she’ll still be turning heads for another 50 years! Thank you, Jim, for trusting us with such a special car. I appreciate you! These are always some of my favorite transformations to work on.

Speaking of gifts, this 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500 came to us already vinyl wrapped and ceramic coated in a color called Red Iridescent! (And yes, you absolutely can ceramic coat over vinyl — in fact, it’s highly recommended if you want results like this!) Bob wanted to get his Shelby ready for an upcoming Mustang car meet, so all we needed to do was the easy part — bring the shine! A solid Silver Detail, engine detail, and a little Florida sunshine were all this pony needed to seriously pop! Thank you, Bob, for trusting us with your beautiful Shelby! With a shine like this, Carroll Shelby can probably see himself in it looking down!
