New Construction Pre-Treatment for Termites

Treating a new home or building while it’s being built is the best way to protect against a termite infestation…and cheapest!

Treating all areas that are formed for a concrete slab should be treated after the gravel is graded and it’s ready to be poured!

It can prevent from having to come back later and having to drill through your new concrete!

Termites work all year round!

Swarming season begins as early as February and normally lasts through the month of July in some places.

Just because the swarming stops in July, doesn’t mean they’ve stopped!

Aerosols and premixed sprays from the store will not take care of a termite infestation!

Ticks, Fleas and Mosquitoes

Ticks and fleas have a similar method of treatment if they start to infest your yard.
It’s a treatment in which calls for a wide area of the ground to be treated(with the proper pesticide).

Flea treatments inside a home mostly consists of treating carpeted areas, because the carpet mimics animal fur which gives them a place to inhabit and lay eggs if they do not have an animal host to live on.

Mosquitoes require an exterior treatment only, which usually consists of treating large foliage plants, bushes, trees in which they inhabit. During the sunny hot part of the day, they usually reside under the leaves to keep cool or around standing water.

Pesticides you have to avoid spraying into or even around standing water, but they do offer mosquitos specific pesticide which is safe for standing water environments.

Contracts and Warranty’s

I do not do contracts for residential customers. Customers just contact me when they need a treatment or quote, so there’s no binding agreement.

I will do written contracts upon request if a commercial customer requires one.

Warranty’s are available for termite treatments only. Termite treatments where the entire structure can be treated entirely will have an option for an extended 5-10 year warranty(with annual inspection/fee).

Termite treatments where a crawl space or any part of the structure is inaccessible for treatment will not get a warranty and paperwork will be filled out in detail explaining the treatment and any obstructions will be noted.

The weather forecast for next week looks to have a good chance of rain everyday, it is not ideal for any outside treatments.

Hopefully the next week will be a much dryer week!
