The rain has stopped and the sun is out! Mosquitoes will start to emerge from standing water. From egg to adult is 6-8 days. Now is the time to schedule seasonal treatments. Try to eliminate standing water in areas around the house. If standing water can’t be eliminated, we can treat these areas with a larvicide. Cleaning gutters to remove standing, stagnant water will eliminate breeding areas as well. Please let us know if we can help!

Chagas disease, spread by the "kissing bug," has been identified in 32 states across the U.S., with at least eight confirmed cases of local transmission. This parasite, Trypanosoma cruzi, is present in about 55% of the bugs in the country. If left untreated, the disease can be fatal, leading to severe cardiac and digestive complications. It's estimated that there are around 300,000 cases in the U.S., and experts are calling for it to be classified as endemic to enhance public awareness and healthcare response.

ANTS: For outdoor fire ants we offer a Top Choice treatment for all landscaped and lawn areas. The product guarantees against fire ants in the treated area for one year. Your regular quarterly pest service helps to control fire ants around the foundation, but does not control or guarantee fire ant mounds in your lawn, as the Top Choice treatment does. The product is also rated to help control fleas and ticks for up to 3 months. Pricing varies based on the size of coverage area. This treatment is once per year and carries a one year warranty against fire ants.
