As most businesses will be back to normal operating hours tomorrow, please allow yourself extra time to get into work. Although the snow has moved away from us, black ice is our next biggest concern with much larger traffic amounts hitting the roads in the early hours.

THANK YOU for following our business page and to all our fellow Snow Plow companies on an exceptional job the last few days preparing for the storm and for keeping up as much as you can.
The jobs not finished just yet as we will all work through the night, but your work matters and you've done it well.

Thank you for trusting our business and allowing us to take care of yours! ❄️

⚠️❄️⚠️ Our crew has been nonstop since around noon yesterday trying to get as many businesses safely cleared and open for today. It's time for us to rest and continue the job in the next couple hours.

ADVICE: Stay home. The snow has hardened, which makes it difficult to shovel by hand and even harder for equipment to push. If you must shovel outside, wear layers, go slow and rest often. It's very cold outside and the wind chill is even colder in the single digits. Someone should know that you're outside.
As we get through the last part of the storm, realize that winter is now here. Cold temperatures are here to stay and so will all this snow for the next week or so.
For any younger drivers, this is where you must remain slow and steady watching for Black ice. Just because the snow will stop falling, doesn't mean you relax on your safety.

Be safe. ❄️

We are officially on shift and out for the next 48hrs..

⚠️Remember: Stay back from the plows, stay home, and stay safe.
If you can, try to clear your cars off often, driveways, and sidewalks so it doesn't harden up over night.

⚠️⚠️Let's talk about some other less popular topics concerning snow safety: Younger drivers

With the most recent update of 4-8 inches of snow, consider talking to your younger less experienced drivers in your households and review some driver safety if they must be out in this.

Remind them that these types of weather conditions are not to be used for leisurely driving around your town-it's not safe for them or plow companies. Safely get to and from their necessary destinations if they must. Plow companies need the roads as clear as possible to do their jobs.

Please review driver safety and what to do if they were to become stuck. It's never a bad idea to have a blanket, phone charger, cat litter (anything weighted) in their trunks, especially if they drive lower level cars this winter.

Rest assured that all us plow drivers will work extra hard to keep your roads cleared and as safe as possible during the next 72 hours.

Some helpful tips and things to keep in mind as we approach the Winter Storm:

⚠️Snow plows need to plow the routes to hospitals, firestations and police stations first. That includes main roadways (high volume roadways).

⚠️Snow plows can work quicker if you have employees park in one designated area, if possible. Long and clean passes help us complete the job in a more efficient way so we can continue to help everyone as timely and safely as possible.

⚠️As with all Snow Plow companies, it will be a LONG weekend. Most likely 24+ straight hours. Somewhere in there, staff will need a couple hours to rest and refuel to get back out there. Allow grace as all companies will likely work through the night into Monday AM.

⚠️Order of client work is oftentimes determined by office hours. With most offices opening at 8am on Monday, we are against the clock to ensure that all staff who must be out, can arrive to work safely in their business lots. That includes pathways and sidewalks to their main doors. If your business decides to close at anytime before Monday at 8:00am, or you know the chances are likely over a certain amount of snow, please inform your plow driver so they can re-prioritize the order of business. It doesn't mean they still won't do your business lot!

⚠️If you must be out, please consider helping all fellow plow drivers by parking as close as you can by the main doors of any building, try to get your grocery cart back into the corral or back into the business so drivers can plow the lots safely and quickly without obstructions.

⚠️If you see a plow truck, please stay back. With as much snow as a plow can push, it can be difficult to see all things. Keep yourself safe and don't block a plow truck.

Lastly, stay patient. There are a lot of dedicated people out there that are committed to helping clear every path possible these next few days.

Stay safe and have YOUR plan in place. ❄️
