Some helpful tips and things to keep in mind as we approach the Winter Storm:
⚠️Snow plows need to plow the routes to hospitals, firestations and police stations first. That includes main roadways (high volume roadways).
⚠️Snow plows can work quicker if you have employees park in one designated area, if possible. Long and clean passes help us complete the job in a more efficient way so we can continue to help everyone as timely and safely as possible.
⚠️As with all Snow Plow companies, it will be a LONG weekend. Most likely 24+ straight hours. Somewhere in there, staff will need a couple hours to rest and refuel to get back out there. Allow grace as all companies will likely work through the night into Monday AM.
⚠️Order of client work is oftentimes determined by office hours. With most offices opening at 8am on Monday, we are against the clock to ensure that all staff who must be out, can arrive to work safely in their business lots. That includes pathways and sidewalks to their main doors. If your business decides to close at anytime before Monday at 8:00am, or you know the chances are likely over a certain amount of snow, please inform your plow driver so they can re-prioritize the order of business. It doesn't mean they still won't do your business lot!
⚠️If you must be out, please consider helping all fellow plow drivers by parking as close as you can by the main doors of any building, try to get your grocery cart back into the corral or back into the business so drivers can plow the lots safely and quickly without obstructions.
⚠️If you see a plow truck, please stay back. With as much snow as a plow can push, it can be difficult to see all things. Keep yourself safe and don't block a plow truck.
Lastly, stay patient. There are a lot of dedicated people out there that are committed to helping clear every path possible these next few days.
Stay safe and have YOUR plan in place. ❄️
