I'd hate for my mom or grandma to have to deal with this mess when they want to wash their car after your lazy butt completely ruined the south bay...

Big shout out to Cass Plumbing!!

Some time last night a hose came apart on one of our pump stands and flooded the mechanical room. They were coming to work on one of the water heaters and walked into standing water and a current running through the room.

They figured out what happened to our equipment, not anything they installed or worked on, our stuff, and fixed it. Then went about doing the work they were there for to get our water heater repaired.

When they got finished, they called me to let me know what happened and what to keep an eye on.

These are the kinds of people you want to work with. The kind that put your cows away, fix the fence, and then tell you that they were out, but everything is fine now.

The automatic bay is up and running again.

For now, it will shut down when temperatures drop below 10 degrees.

Other than just knowing it's below 10 degrees outside, the only other way to tell if its shut down is to look at the display on the pay station, it will scroll CLOSED across the screen and you'll have to back away.

The self serve bays are all messed up, not from the weather but from a poor service tech that did a terrible job trying to get our spot free working in the self serve bays. They basically messed up every other function, including the spot free. I'm trying to get them back out to work on it ASAP.

Well, we're going to try out a customer suggestion.

I'm leaving the light's on 24/7 in the bays. I also turned on the clean-up light's in the automatic so it'll be a little brighter in there at night too, maybe a little less of a rave or night club feel after dark. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Got the quarter thingy working on the automatic bay.
It still won't dispense change so make sure you have the exact amount for your wash if you plan on using cash.
But, at least now if you're a buck or 2 short, you can dig through the cup holders and seat cushions to get the wash you want!!

I'm definitely not perfect, and to be really honest, I'm pretty new to all of this car wash nonsense.

And, stuff breaks, even new stuff. Sometimes what you get sold doesn't work right, even new stuff you pay a lot of money for.

Today I fixed an air issue that was messing with the soap patterns in the automatic and the soap delivery in the self serve, I dug whatever gunk that was stuffed in the coin slot of the South bay out and got the quarters that were jammed in there dug out, ran a few test passes on the automatic to make sure everything was working as intended and got the vacuum all cleaned up.

If you have a problem, something is not working properly, or you think I need to do something differently, reach out on Facebook Messenger and I'll do the best I can to fix it and make it right.

And a big THANK YOU to everyone that has been doing an awesome job of leaving the place at least as clean as you found it. I've only had a couple of people make a giant mess, like to the ceiling, and not spend a few minutes rinsing down the mud/stalks/cow p**p all over the bay.

Thanks for helping keep the car wash nice for everyone to enjoy.

I'm still fighting to get spot free rinse working in the self serve bays, but it is working in the automatic.
Come to think of it, the bill validator is too, just remember, it doesn't give change so bring the exact amount if you're putting cash into the automatic terminal.
