Ya.... Hopefully they'll warranty it, sucker isn't cheap.

Everything else in the automatic bay is working, I'm going to reprogram the wash cycles to give a high pressure rinse until I can get the spot free pump fixed.
The high pressure rinse is run through a water softener, just not the reverse osmosis system.

It only affects the auto bay, self serve spot free still works.
Speaking of self serve bays, they are all clean and I fixed the no foam brush soap in the south bay so its pushing piles of pink foam again.

Thanks to the people that messaged me over the weekend while i was camping, letting me know about issues at the wash.

South bay wand replaced, no more spraying your feet while you wash.

Outside bay soap fixed, had an air bubble it couldn't pass so I had to bleed the line. She's soapy now, maybe too soapy 🤷🏼‍♂️
Don't worry your hands won't turn pink like mine, I made an error in judgement while bleeding the system.... now my hand will be pink for a day or so... oh well 😬

I put new triple foam soap in the automatic, we'll see if this stuff works better.

Still trying to get parts for the north self serve bay, I'll post as soon as its fixed!

North self service bay is down

The pump that injects the soap into the high pressure wash stopped working, I'm waiting on parts to get it pushing soap again.

The 2nd pass in the automatic had a sticking soap induction valve, that has been replaced and we're getting a good amount of soap out of it now.

Plus we're testing out some new chemicals, and by testing, I mean chemistry and beakers in the equipment room making sure the right amount of soap is coming out to get your car clean.

Thanks to a couple of people reaching out on messenger yesterday I was made aware of a problem with the foam brush not pushing soap in the south indoor bay.
I found a bad connection behind the selector panel in the bay and got it working again.

I appreciate everyone messaging me so know when stuff is not working right, that way I can get it fixed.

PSA:

There's been a few vehicles through lately with a white residue that the automatic bay can't get off.

I'm not sure what it is, dust control, ice melt, whatever it is, the brush and a little scrubbing in the self serve bays seem to get it loose.
The 2 inside bays have horse hair brushes for maximum paint protection, the outside self serve bay has a traditional poly brush. Both will do a great job with the residue if you put a little effort into it.

If your car has this almost sticky residue on it you might want to try the foam brush out, I'd hate to see anyone else spend good money on a wash that our soaps can't get off.

I'd hate for my mom or grandma to have to deal with this mess when they want to wash their car after your lazy butt completely ruined the south bay...
And, its not like you didn't have shovels or a dump trailer to load your mess into...

Big shout out to Cass Plumbing!!

Some time last night a hose came apart on one of our pump stands and flooded the mechanical room. They were coming to work on one of the water heaters and walked into standing water and a current running through the room.

They figured out what happened to our equipment, not anything they installed or worked on, our stuff, and fixed it. Then went about doing the work they were there for to get our water heater repaired.

When they got finished, they called me to let me know what happened and what to keep an eye on.

These are the kinds of people you want to work with. The kind that put your cows away, fix the fence, and then tell you that they were out, but everything is fine now.
