HOW I PRICE AT SAVVY LUXURY SERVICES

I believe in clear expectations, fair pricing, and quality work — so here’s how my pricing works moving forward.

🧽 I do not price by square footage alone.
I price based on:
• condition of the space
• level of detail required
• time + labor involved
• supplies, travel, and wear on the body

🧹 Make-Ready / Turnover Cleans
These are not basic cleans. They often include:
• inside oven & fridge
• post-repair or post-tenant dust
• bathroom scrubbing
• cabinets, fans, baseboards
• detailed floor work

📍 Teaneck / Bergen County pricing guide:
• 1-Bedroom Make-Ready: $225–$350
• Heavy detail / post-construction: $300+
(final price depends on condition)
⏱ Minimums
• $60/hr minimum
• 2-hour minimum per booking
• Rush or same-day service is higher
💬 Important to know:
I don’t compete on “cheap.”
I compete on quality, reliability, and results you don’t have to redo.

This Question is for my fellow cleaners, landlords, and renters — genuinely asking.❓

When did a 1-bedroom make-ready clean become a $60 job? ⁉️🤔🤦🏾

I’m talking about apartments that need:
• inside oven + fridge
• post-repair dust removal
• bathroom scrubbing
• cabinets, fans, baseboards
• floors detailed top to bottom

Not a quick tidy. A real reset.
I’m seeing more requests lately where the expectations are high but the budget hasn’t caught up — and I’m curious how others are handling it.

For context:
In Teaneck / Bergen County, a proper 1-bedroom make-ready clean realistically falls in the $225–$350 range, depending on condition. That’s based on time, labor, supplies, travel, and wear on the body — not vibes.

I’ve reached a point where I’m choosing sustainability over “just taking the job.”
Because doing heavy work for low pay doesn’t just affect your business — it affects your health.

So I’m asking for a friend :
• Are you adjusting your minimums going into 2026?
• Do you price per job or per hour for make-ready cleans?
• How do you explain value without arguing price?
