If you own a pool and are looking for service, please take a minute to hear what we offer!

Our price is too high? We hear this a lot. We include 2 filter cleans a year with our service. Sure, $120.00 a month seems high compared to a $100.00 or less for a monthly estimate, but as with everything, you get what you pay for.

What that $100.00 or less is not telling you is that there will be an extra charge when the filter is cleaned (or possibly just backwashed). Maybe they even charge for tabs or other chemicals on a month to month basis. They may even be walking into the backyard with a net and a gallon of chlorine not even testing the water properly.

This could be disastrous for your pool and equipment in the long run costing you hundreds or even thousands to repair/replace.

When you break down cheaper service price over 12 months, it’s either really close to what we charge or sometimes even more expensive.

Our complete breakdown and cleaning of your filter literally means exactly that! We break it down completely, clean it and look over all internal parts before putting it back together. In addition we know and measure out the correct required amount of DE needed in a DE filter. As well as fiber clear in cartridge filters.

Our FULL filter cleaning is completed every spring and every fall.

Once we start servicing your pool, yes there may be many things that need replaced or fixed in order to get your equipment and pool back to normal, but it is most likely the result of your previous cheaper service.

For example! Today we cleaned a new customers filter at no extra cost as it’s an included filter clean.

That being said, after breaking it down we found that there was twice as much Diatomaceous Earth in the filter than there should be.

Why was there so much? Most likely because the last pool technician was only backwashing the filter.
When your filter is backwashed, there’s no way for the tech to measure the amount of DE that is being flushed or the amount retaining inside the filter once done.

Why does it matter that there’s extra DE? Because it raises the pressure (psi) in the filter, which then started to crush or break the internal parts that could cost a couple hundred dollars to replace.

Do you see what we are getting at? Yes, the service is cheaper per month but in the long run it’s more expensive. We take pride in our work and we protect your investment of owning a pool.

Check out the pictures below. The DE is pack full in the middle of the grids almost to the top holding wheel. After rinsing you can clearly see the frame of the grids have been crushed due to excessive pressure and now need to be replaced.

Is that cheaper service? The simple answer is no.

Vacuum to waste and then we used our PowerVac to clean up all of the cardboard. Added our second dose of Phosphate remover. This pool is around 40,000 gallons, and we want to make sure we remove all the phosphates. We will test for them again when it’s complete just to double check. Next we will perform a quick skimmer vacuuming and then clean the filter. Almost ready for summer.

Another successful repair completed. Replaced an older style Zinc Anode Corrosion Protector. The older style that was existing had started leaking and was expired. These are typically used on saltwater pools to prevent corrosion of the equipment. The new style is set inside a tee fitting. Now the internal core can easily be replaced about ever 3 years.

Update on the algae/ash cleanup. Algae is dead and the water is clear enough to start vacuuming to waste the thick dirt/ash/dead algae. Vacuumed as much as we could, then brushed everything and added the first dose of SeaKlear’s Phosphate remover.
