🦋 Open your pantry and something flies out? That's not random — that's a pantry moth, and it means there are probably eggs and larvae already hiding in your food.

Two of the most common culprits in Florida homes are the Indianmeal moth and the Angoumois grain moth. They look small and harmless, but their larvae chew through flour, cereal, rice, nuts, pet food — even chocolate.

The tricky part? By the time you see the moth, the infestation has usually already spread to multiple packages.

✅ We just published a full guide breaking down:
→ How to tell the two moths apart
→ What foods are most at risk
→ How to clean out your pantry the right way
→ How to keep them from coming back

🚨 Seeing flying termites around your home? Don’t ignore them.

Termite swarm season is one of the biggest warning signs Florida homeowners face each year. Those winged termites around windows, lights, or doors may mean a colony is nearby — or already inside the structure.

In Florida’s warm, humid climate, swarm season can start earlier and last longer depending on the species. And by the time visible damage appears, termites may have already caused thousands in hidden structural damage.

Our latest blog covers:
✔️ Why termites swarm
✔️ When different termite species swarm in Florida
✔️ What swarmers look like
✔️ Signs you may already have an infestation
✔️ When to schedule a professional inspection

🪰 Not all flies are the same… and treating the wrong one could mean the infestation never goes away.

Fruit flies, drain flies, blow flies, phorid flies — each species points to a different breeding source, and some can signal much bigger problems hidden inside your home.

A few flies near fruit? Probably simple.
Large metallic flies indoors? That could mean a dead animal in a wall.
Tiny flies near baseboards that won’t go away? You may have a hidden drain issue beneath the home.

Our latest blog breaks down:
✔️ The most common flies found in Florida homes
✔️ How to identify each species
✔️ What their presence really means
✔️ Which infestations you can handle yourself — and which need professional help

Your lawn shouldn’t be turning yellow if you’re watering it properly. ☀️🌱

If you’re seeing dead patches spreading near sidewalks, driveways, or curbs, chinch bugs could be destroying your St. Augustine grass from the inside out.

These tiny pests are one of the biggest causes of lawn damage in Florida — and they’re often mistaken for drought stress until it’s too late.

In our latest blog, we break down:
✔️ Early signs of chinch bug damage
✔️ How to confirm an infestation yourself
✔️ Why DIY sprays often fail
✔️ The best ways to protect your lawn

Catching chinch bugs early can mean the difference between a simple treatment and replacing half your lawn.

👻 Ever see tiny ants on your counter... and then lose them?

You're not imagining things — those are ghost ants, and they're one of the most frustrating pests in Tampa Bay homes.

Here's what most homeowners don't know:
🚫 Spraying them with store-bought repellent actually makes it WORSE. It causes the colony to split and spread to new spots in your walls.

Ghost ants have multiple queens, multiple nests, and they never die off in Florida's climate. That's why they keep coming back no matter what you try.

We just published a full guide covering:
✅ How to identify ghost ants (hint: smell them)
✅ Where they're hiding in your home
✅ Why DIY sprays backfire
✅ What actually works

🐞 You walk outside… and suddenly your car, porch, and windows are covered in bugs.

Welcome to lovebug season in Florida.

They show up fast, stick around just long enough to be annoying, and then disappear as if nothing happened. But here’s the thing, lovebugs aren’t dangerous. They don’t bite, sting, or infest your home.

So why are they everywhere… and what should you actually do about them?

In our latest blog, we break down:
✔️ What lovebugs really are (and the myth everyone gets wrong)
✔️ Why they swarm your car and home
✔️ How they can damage your vehicle
✔️ What actually works—and what doesn’t

Before you reach for sprays or start worrying, get the facts.
