If you’re unable to dry a load of clothes in less than 45 minutes this might be why! Lint Busters of Tampa Bay finds a way to get the job done. This three-story townhome had a dryer vent that exits on the roof. Without renting a 40 foot ladder to get to the exit, attic access is necessary. We cut the dryer vent pipe near the roof line and are able to remove the screen, which is against code, from the gooseneck hood. It’s like having a new dryer again! Get your dryer vent inspected annually to ensure your dryer’s efficiency and fire safety.

Hello Lint Busters Nation! Lots of complaints about moisture in dryers during July and August. Unfortunately, it’s common this time of year. Remember, these vents are path ways for airflow. That works in both directions! When the dryer isn’t operating -hot, humid air funnels down the vent into your cool home and condensation happens in the drum. First thing in the morning throw a dry towel in for five minutes and that will take care of it. Repeat this until we hit September when the humidity dips. Of course, if the issue persists have the vent inspected and cleaned by Lint Busters. Hope this helps!

Lint Busters of Tampa Bay goes the extra mile for its customers. By pulling a 32’ ladder onto the 2nd story balcony of this townhome, I was able to extend it to the 3rd story roof. I was then able to clear the hardened lint obstructing the dryer vent hood.

Don’t let your dryer vent get this gross and full of lint! It’s a fire hazard and makes the dryer run longer, increasing your electric bill.
