*** Family Update ***

Hello, Tampa friends! The Capote Family has experienced quite a few life changes in the last six months - one of those being that after three generations of service to our communities, we have officially retired from the dry cleaning business...

That's right, WE SOLD OUR BUSINESS!
To another local dry cleaning family who we've known for over thirty years, and are confident they will continue to provide excellent family friendly service to our favorite neighbors.

This decision was not made lightly - it was years of family discussions (and disagreements, lol) about what life would look like for us if we were no longer small business owners (which was equally terrifying and exhilarating to think about), until finally there was no denying that closing this chapter in our story was the right path forward for the future of our family.

We want to thank all of our loyal customers who have made going into work every day an absolute honor - we will deeply miss all of you!

But don't worry, you can still run into a Capote or two at Bayshore, as Michael has stayed on as the store manager for the new owners, and the rest of us like to make random surprise visits, just because we can!

Friendly PSA - we're not in the business of ruining items. We've been in dry cleaning for three generations and our process is pretty fail proof. If any damage does occur to an item, it is 99.9% often the cause of a manufacturer defect or mislabeling, but we will help you resolve the issue to the best of our ability out of the goodness of our hearts. No need to point fingers at (or insult) the small family business who bust their butts to feed their family and keep their neighbors happy with excellent service. :)

When you've been in business for almost 60 years, you've definitely seen your fair share of hard years, but 2020 was in a different category all on it's own - we are beyond grateful our business has been able to survive! Thank you to our loyal customers for sticking by our side through this crazy year - we don't take any of you for granted!

Satisfied customers will shop anywhere for a product. Loyal customers will encourage others to buy from you because you are more than just a product to them, and they will help fight for your success. Which would you rather have - an army of satisfied customers or an army of loyal customers?

"NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR GARMENTS LEFT OVER 30 DAYS" - it's the industry standard.

Your local dry cleaners is not a storage facility, and often times has very limited space, especially for bulk items (i.e., household goods). We will happily hold your items past the 30 days, after all, we don't get paid until you pick up - but if our yearly 'spring cleaning' time rolls around and you've yet to resurface, your items will be donated to our charity of choice.

We assume three things: 1) you're clearly no longer our customer, 2) you no longer care about your items, and 3) you like to give to charity as much as we do.

So friends, if it's been a year and you're suddenly remembering you forgot to pick up that blue suit you usually only wear to weddings, sleep well at night knowing it's gone on to help someone in the community, maybe to prepare for a job interview. Giving is good, and if you find yourself getting upset about this, I suggest taking a close look at what's really going on inside of your heart.

We all know the best precautions we can take to stay healthy are to wash your hands frequently, maintain social distance, eat well/exercise, AND keep your home clean and sanitized - so let us help you!

Florida has successfully reopened at 'Phase 1' for a few weeks now, so bring us your bedding and linens for a refreshing deep clean before 'Phase 2' (and the crazy Florida summer heat) gets underway. Same day turnaround on most bedding.

*UPDATE* on shutdown schedule:

Hello, Tampa friends! We are planning to REOPEN on Monday, May 4th. There will be a few temporary changes in our operations, but we're ready to open back up for our community and see all of our favorite neighbors again. :)

New temporary hours:
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
Saturday, 10am - 2pm

Social distancing rules will be in effect, and our same day services will not be available at this time - no exceptions.
