Stormwater systems in parking garages are easy to overlook, but they come with some unique challenges.

Unlike typical sites, access is often the biggest hurdle. Vactor trucks can’t fit inside garages, so servicing these systems requires a bit of creativity.

Using ADS flexible tubing, we were able to extend the reach of our equipment, feed it through the garage, and access a hard-to-reach manhole for cleaning.

With some problem-solving and teamwork, the system was cleaned and returned to functioning as intended.

Not all stormwater management happens underground. Some of the most effective solutions are built right into the surface.

Knife drains are designed to quickly capture and redirect surface water, helping prevent pooling in areas like drive lanes and parking lots.

Permeable pavement works differently. It allows water to pass through the surface and soak into the ground below, reducing runoff and helping filter pollutants naturally.

When used together, these systems help control drainage, reduce flooding risk, and support better water quality!
