at night and cringing a little inside knowing that they need clean sheets. We want you to have more time to relax with a peaceful mind with your family. My name is Terry Rockwell. I am the owner of Syracuse Domestic Services. I am a mother to 4 wonderful children...well, adults now. I remember when my children were babies and I felt overwhelmed by everything that comes with children and home ownership. 10 years ago, I paid $55.00 a week for a lady to come and clean for me. I know the value that it had in my life was so much more. I never had to clean the bathroom, I never worried about clean sheets (Unless someone peed on them), the floors were clean... The word that comes to mind now while looking back on it is..."exhale". It was the best investment that I could have made in myself and my family at that time. There was a moment of guilt where I thought I should be doing it all myself. But, when I realized the improvement in the quality of the time that I was spending with my family, I realized that it was not only worth it, it was important. Being a mother of 4, I know all about sippy cups in the couch and cheerios in the beds. I understand that sometimes things get messy...and sometimes downright gross! I understand that. I expect it. So, you don't have to pre-clean your house before your cleaning service comes. I understand and my employees understand. We are looking forward to meeting you and being a tool that you can use to create the healthiest and happiest home environment for your family. We also know what it is like to own Pets.(They can be just like children)

It’s interesting when someone asks me ‘what do you do for a living?’ I smile and say CLEAN HOMES,OFFICES, many times I hear ‘that’s nice’, like it’s not really a career, just a hobby, and I can’t possibly make a living of cleaning. They are mistaken because cleaning is a career and a hard one, although many don’t think so because it’s just cleaning!

This is what ‘it’s just cleaning’ is to me.....
It's just cleaning - When I got to hear that you are getting married
It's just cleaning - When I was to hear about your day or week
It's just cleaning- When you told me a family member or YOU had cancer. And we cried together
It's just cleaning- When you told me you were getting divorced/seperated. I sat and listened to you, you know nothing will be said
It's just cleaning- When you told me you were going to be a gramma for the first time, second time....
It's just cleaning- When I had the honor of being part of your family
It's just cleaning- when I was one of the first people you told you were expecting, or laugh because I figured out that you are
It's just cleaning-When I clean your place, you laugh because you have ask me were you keep something in the house
It's just cleaning- when you were trying to be strong because you lost someone you loved but knew you could cry without judgement
It's just cleaning- When you looked forward to your house being cleaned
It's just cleaning-When you I know will watch/talk to your mom/dad and keep you up to date about them
It's just cleaning- When you met the person of your dreams and he/she became your special person!!
It's just cleaning- When all you wanted in the whole world was a hug and knew I’d give you one with open arms!
It's just cleaning- When you lost your job and didn't know what you were going to do.
It's just cleaning- When you had a terrible day and looked forward to being able to vent without being judged.
It's just cleaning- When you are about to go on holiday and can't wait to tell me about it next time I come

It's not "just cleaning" for any of us in this industry!!!!
We have touched the lives of so many people and for that we deserve to be appreciated and recognized!
