We are so happy to be able to welcome a volunteer hero and his pup Gigi to our humble parking lot Solar Suds with the help from Jere Gladden Melissa Yvette Gladden LC Clemons Friends of Swannanoa, NC 28778 Swannanoa Grassroots Alliance a donated camper will be in our lot to help with security and on site help as we navigate our path back to our community!

We appreciate all of the communities support and for the Black Mountain News to tell our story. As of now, we have no clear answer as to when we can reopen. Jere has been dealing with Duke Power for 9 weeks now, still with no answer. We are blessed beyond belief that our home is still standing and we are alive through all of this. No flood insurance means that we’ve lost all that we’ve invested to revitalized the laundromat of Swannanoa. Please keep the prayers coming as we will for the Swannanoa Valley. ✌🏻❤️& Solar Suds! 🙏🏻
