Anyone has wondered where I have been in the last few months. It has been behind the desk working on a redo of the new hotwaxgarage.com website. I never went to school for this or took any courses. Everything I learned is from hands-on experience and asking questions.
I dictated the final design look as most web developers are not graphic designers. Design, style, and color coordination have always been among my skills. I also did all the pictures and descriptions. This work is also ongoing. For the tech work, I had to work with a web developer overseas due to the cost of having it done locally. A special thanks to Don McCary, Michelle Venter McCarty, who started me on this journey with the first website; Ray Daley, a local web developer who did my 2nd Gen website and still takes my calls to help me when I ask for his help. It took hundreds of hours behind the desk from morning to late evening and, sometimes, till bedtime. The work is ongoing as the website keeps demanding improvements and changes. I chose to do this old-school style to learn from experience with every web developer and questions asked. If you know me, I will only stop until whatever project I'm undertaking is as close to perfect as I can get and done correctly.
