🔧 Maintenance Check Gone Wild 🔧
This Dodge Avenger came in running rough, misfiring, stalling… basically throwing a tantrum worthy of a daytime TV special. So we dug in to see what was going on.
Here’s what we found:
⚡ Battery terminal growing its own ecosystem.
The corrosion was so thick it probably had voting rights. This kind of buildup kills voltage, causes random stalls, and makes your alternator work overtime.
🛢 LEFT: Transmission fluid – clean, healthy, perfect.
RIGHT: Engine oil – looking like expired pudding someone left in a lunchbox over summer break.
Oil that thick or sludgy can cause misfires, poor lubrication, overheating, and enough engine drama to qualify for a reality show.
🌰 Bonus Feature: A rodent vacation home in the air box.
Shredded insulation, seeds, debris… the full Airbnb experience. This suffocates airflow and tanks performance.

🚨 Moral of the story:
When your fluids look like food groups and your air box is hosting wildlife, your engine won’t be thrilled. Little problems snowball fast into big, expensive ones.
If your ride is hesitating, shaking, or giving you the “I’m done with life” vibe, it’s time for a checkup.
